Random Thoughts

My CRV got stolen here in Miami. I was in the Dominican for 10 days. Kind of a long story. I made money off of the insurance. It had 14,000 miles on it and nine months to pay it off. Immaculate condition

Now I only use Uber and save around $1k a month
Ouch!

I asked our contractor to remove the sliding glass door so I could clean out 23 years of dog hair from the wheels, it's been hard to open/close for years. He introduced me to a wax you put on the track, before I used WD 40 which wears off quickly.

Now the sliding glass door can be opened with the pinkie of a child. This knowledge alone was worth the check I paid him that day and I have ordered my own wax on Amazon.

Details on that wax please.

skinsmarydu post about the sign reminds about the time a buddy of mine whose family owned a bar in Linthicum, MD, (Howard's Subway), gave me this back in the mid-90's. I'm guessing that the beer distributor gave it to the bar. They were all Colts and Ravens fans, but he knows what a hard-core Skins fan I was, (and am!). It was in our attic for over 20 years before I hung it. Yes, it still lights.....

Thanks! Ordered!

Works very well. I don’t have a child’s pinkie to test but the slider now opens easily with my adult pointer finger. 😎

Thanks again DGF!

Yeah....we have a few stubborn windows....WD-40 works for a while...but this stuff sounds like it will work better and longer...

Probably the worst pun possible, as it's impossible to go off-topic in a Random Thought thread
🤦‍♂️
