Random Thoughts

I have an agreement with the spiders above my shower. If they stay up there, I am not going out of my way to reach them.

Yea, but only to an extent...

Yea those are the ones I mean. The ones that harm humans may be "beneficial". But I have heard stories of them actually crawling in people's bed and biting them unprovoked. Though I don't know how accurate or exaggerated those stories are.

I was hoping to find a reliable way to visually identify those by exclusive markings, etc
We have black and brown widows all around the outside of the house. I have to go around and knock down the webs and egg sacks down monthly. We get sprayed every 3 months. In 30+ years we haven't had a single widow spider in the house. If I have to put on a jacket or shoes / boots I don't use often, I always wrap my hand / arm in a towel, and make sure there aren't any critters in there.... mainly brown recluse spiders. I've never seen a recluse first hand, but why chance it. Knew a kid who got bitten by one, and had serious tissue damage. The one that gets me is wasps eating through the ceiling in the attic or crawl space and breaking into the room below. Just found out about this a week or two ago. I guess it's not uncommon down here.

Wow. And all this time I've been on a mission to "Save the Wasps" once I found out they were literally worth Billions of dollars annually, the way they benefit the agricultural industry

My brother and another friend got brown recluse bites that damn near killed 'em.
I'm okay with lizards, but spiders and snakes are a complete zero.

Really? I'm cooking dinner!

Headed back to Medellin in about 3 weeks. First time meeting her. She's absolutely gorgeous, like fall down the stairs gorgeous. Really sweet as well. I have known her for a very long time

After seeing the pic you sent me, I like her a whole lot better than the last one 😁

The meaning of the phrase in your "gold circle" under the wolf pic, is beginning to take shape in my mind :)

RedWolf I apologize for the confusion by the poorly-worded term, "gold circle".
But ya'll gotta understanded, I am from Florida, where the DMV has trained us NOT to know what an actual "gold circle" is.

For example, years ago they started issuing these REAL-ID driver licenses, and described the distinct marking as a "gold star"

I have a few friends that have a High School education, and they all insist that what they circled below is a
"gold circle, with a white star" as opposed to a Gold Star.

My Florida driver's license shows the same does that mean that it's a true real ID?

I don't care, F them. Whenever I show a law enforcement officer my federal ID? They go back to their car and call it in and verify it. Every single time they come back to me and say have a nice day sir

Could be it's a Counterfeit ID, if it's a White Star and not the Gold Star.

I have exactly what is shown in that picture above

Edit CGPT
In Florida, a driver’s license with a gold star (often depicted as a white star inside a gold circle/cutout in the upper right-hand corner) is REAL ID-compliant. A license without this star is an older standard format and is not REAL ID-compliant.
