Well, what was I gonna respond with??????
I had to have one science credit to graduate HS...I took Earth Science my freshman year and never took another science.

On the other hand, when he was typing he'd just shout out a word and I was expected to spell it. Which I could.

See my edits! 🤣

I spent the weekend up in Maryland for my son's engagement party. We had a hell of a time!

As soon as I landed in Miami my phone blew up. My daughter just got engaged.

Oh fuck! Next year is going to be expensive! I am sending this message from the corner of my neighborhood because I am trying to sell my ass to make extra money 💰

I went to the oncologist yesterday and they told me once again that my pancreatic cancer that moved to my liver is still not coming back and all they see is scar tissue. It's been dead for over a year now.

They said that it's unbelievable because they have so many other patients that have the same exact diagnosis and same exact treatment but theirs always keeps coming back and kills them, mine just vanished.

The doctor also said that whatever I'm doing that I need to keep doing it so when I got home I poured a couple shots of whiskey, drank a beer and then passed out after handing out Halloween candy. LOL.

That is awesome news brother, so happy for you

You are blessed. After all that you have suffered through you more than deserve it.

My son is a big space and astronomy buff. I saw that Neil Degrasse Tyson is doing a speaking tour currently with a stop near me in a couple of weeks. Got a couple of good tickets and the boy and I will be checking it out. Anyone ever see him speak? I'm looking forward to it.

Hail Yeah! That's great news and I'm happy for you. So...if I'm reading this right....you poured a a couple shots, then drank a beer and passed out? Did you drink the whiskey this morning? Seriously, though, to echo burgold's post, it is amazing!

So happy for you, SkinsFTW !!! (Glad you shared the news here, too!) I should've taken a pic when we met at the game, give your wife a fist-bump for me!

Boone ... I've never seen NDT in person, but my husband was totally enamored so I watched him on TV for 20 years. (Does anyone remember when he was on The Daily Show and pointed out to Jon Stewart that the "Earth" spinning in the opening was moving in the wrong direction?) :amen::amen:

Anyone else tired of Daylight Savings time and having to change all their clocks?

Is your preference Standard time (Fall), or Daylight savings time (Spring)? I don't really have a preference other than longer days in the summer is nice, but I wish the government would eliminate one of them like they've been talking about doing for years.

I have two stand alone clocks that I need to change, an oven clock, two coffee machine clocks, car clocks, and the worst is a G -Shock sports watch that I have to watch a video to remind me how to change the time on it.

And don't forget all our internal clocks that need to adjust. My dog was up an hour earlier this morning.

I'm not sure farmers need the extra hour of daylight nowadays so maybe we should leave it at Standard time?

Astronomers are the only ones I know of. Saturn and Jupiter are great views through a telescope in October/November, so I look forward to seeing those an hour earlier. Now, I would gladly give that up for the greater good and lighter evenings.

I can't think of anyone else though.

I will say 2 things:

1. I have to take my daughter to swim practice at 6:30am. Without daylight saving times, we would leave for swim practice and then be done with swim practice in the dark, and I appreciate some sunlight early in the morning for the early birds so they don't live their entire day in darkness.

2. There are lots of people in Alaska, Scandinavia, and Russia who don't see the sun for 6 months. I question their life choices.

Having said all that, screw daylight savings time, and get rid of time zones. :p

Nope, whiskey overnight in the glass is pretty nasty stuff. I had to drink it right away lol.

Consider yourself lucky I had to get up at 4:30 a.m. for my daughter's 5:00 a.m. swim team practices. It was invite only on the team.

My vote on daylight savings is kill it. Let us align with the rest of the world

Really fucking sad and depressed after yesterday's game

Nvidia training is tough. About 80% new technology for me.

OK, I've got a lot to unload.
My step-sister passed away from early Alzheimers a few months ago. Now her brother is at UVA with a form of Leukemia.

He taught me how to ride a motorcycle. We had 5 acres, a track, and fun...from a YZ 80 tp a KX...which threw me off the back of it because it had so much more power!!!

I love this kid...I punted a football and fucked up my ankle once, he carried me everywhere until I was okay. When he had mono, I heard the cowbell ring cuz my dad would have to get him to the bathroom. He's a good man.

Begging for your prayers or good wishes.
