Didn't want to see KC in the Super Bowl, but Baltimore wasn't up to the task.
 
Nope. Jackson really tarnished his rep today. He’s dynamic but he’s not a top 5 QB imho.
 
I’d like to congratulate the Chiefs for reaching the Super Bowl despite losing their OC during the off-season.

That and his brain-dead taunting penalty. I think the NFL in training camps next year is going to show that clip as Exhibit A for what a taunting penalty looks like. Whether one agrees that it should be a penalty is another discussion. It's just one of those things a coaching staff needs to be sure their players understand. Don't be That Guy. It's the rule. Live it.

I was surprised not just with him, but also with Baltimore's lack of discipline and inability to downshift into that extra gear when they needed it. That one's gonna hurt.
 
One thing that stood out to me yesterday was just how many offensive D.O.G.s played yesterday, especially at TE. Guys that go all-out and take no prisoners.

Washington currently has two at best.
 
I don't think it is quite that bad, Chris (which isn't to say it's great either).

I think you can put Robinson, McLaurin, Cosmi, and Howell in that category. Maybe Rodriguez too.

However since you called out the TE position specifically, I have to agree. We got nothing there.
 
I need to see more before I put Cosmi in that category. 2023 is really the first season he's played at a high level. And you have to put Jon Allen on that list even if he had a subpar 2023 (I personally believe he played hurt for a good portion of it).

My 2 were McLaurin and Robinson. I considered Cosmi, but like Boone I would like to see him more.

I think Rodriguez has the bones to be considered but I need to see him used more in a proper offense. Howell certainly has some dog in him. We will have to wait and see if the knighted professionals think he has what it takes overall for the position.

So (drumroll please) I’m sticking with my original 2 for the time being. 😉

I was specifically referencing the offensive side. I think there are more dogs on defense 🦮 than offense 🐩
 
I didn't take your original post to be talent driven but more about attitude, drive, and leaving it all out there.

From a talent perspective, sure - I think we all need to see more from Cosmi and Howell.

If, on the other hand, you are questioning their fight...well, I think we were watching two different teams this last fall. :)
 
Well all those things are great, of course, but ultimately talent needs to be there. There are no Rudys in the NFL.
