The national narrative about Belichick has quickly turned into him being referred to as "the greatest coach in NFL history" every time single he's mentioned. Just heard it again on GMF in context of his apparently not going to be coaching in the league next season since Atlanta choose Raheem.

It drives me crazy. I acknowledge the man has the 2nd most wins in NFL history. I acknowledge he has six championship rings as head coach of the Patriots. I acknowledge he has fairly won a reputation as a brilliant defensive mind. I even acknowledge that his teams that won or competed for championships year after year always looked well-prepared.

What I wish as ALSO acknowledge out in Hype Land is that he also had the best fucking quarterback in NFL history for two fucking decades.

Isn't that funny? It's quite true. Same for Gibbs even though Gibbs was renowned for having an amazing staff. I guess Dan Henning and Bugel did something, but not much.
