I think they were evaluating the interactions since they like all of them and wanted to see how that went to get a better idea of who they wanted, It was a test
 
According to multiple reports I’ve read, it’s how they did things in San Francisco. It’s a practice Peters looks to have brought over. Can’t really argue with the results they’ve been getting there.
 
I think we all agree it’s a big nothing burger. I only opened the discussion here because it’s a national story - Galdi spent a good amount of time on it this morning.
 
Reports coming in this morning that Daniel’s is now meeting with the Vikings, where he’d been reluctant to before.
 
Interesting. I wonder if Daniels got a bad vibe from the meeting or is worried about his agent’s gaffe?

I can’t imagine the tweets themselves mean much, but if they were the result of frustration after his client’s debrief then it may be hinting about where they think Washington is leaning.
 
How about the possibility that Minnesota trades up to #3? It makes sense then, right?
 
If they put a lot of stock interview skills and how guys carry themselves with others, I think we may hear them draft Drake Maye on 4/25. Daniels gives a diva vibe to me. I think he’s clearly the better QB right now, but as we have witnessed first hand, character and who you are as a person is a big success factor. Not saying Daniels is gonna have issues in that regard, but there are more warning signs I see with him than I do with Drake Maye.
 
If it's interview-based, I think McCarthy is probably the winner.

Frankly, all three men seem like good people. I've heard plenty good stories about all of them. So, I really think it's about who they think is the best player now, who's the most coachable, and who will fit the mold of what they ultimately hope to become... which is the best case scenario. I think we will be happy with the result whomever is the choice. As for who's best... no one knows. Hell, we don't even know if this coaching staff will gel.

What gives you diva vibes about Daniels?

I can see and agree to that with Williams but haven’t personally seen it in Daniels.
 
Diva may not be the right word… when he left to go to LSU the rumor was that his teammates were kind of glad to see him go. There was something in social media that was posted. Maybe that was sour grapes or disappointment they were losing him but it sounded like more than that.

I’m mostly just referring to how he carries himself in interviews. He does not display the humility of some of the other QBs. In fact, to me he seems downright cocky. That may not even be a bad thing as cockiness and aggressive personality seem to be traits a lot of the great QBs have.

I’m not at a point where I think a more ‘me-focused’ personality is a good enough reason not to take him. But I wonder if it’s a bigger deal for Peters and Quinn.
 
Cole Turner lookin like he switching to Defensive End.
 
He'd probably be better off switching to Small Forward.
 
Daniels had one breakout season. He maxed out the last year of eligibility. Great.

But that doesn’t mean he has arrived. That next jump to the NFL is going to be more humbling than his transition to the SEC.

If we pick him I hope his eyes are open and he doesn’t come in like Haskins talking about clothing lines and asking for retired players jerseys.
