What Gruden is not doing right now is giving me confidence through his words and media sessions that he is in charge and things are going to get fixed.
He looks confused by what has happened in 2016 and by the failures of some of the people he selected to be coaches and players on his team.
Maybe for him that's a good thing and he can start to re-evaluate how to build a better mousetrap.
With his brother as a sounding board, I am really surprised that Jay has been as lost as he has appeared at times.
Gruden thinks the media guys are a bunch of twats - that's what you're picking up on. He almost always agrees with them or generously humors them. He's not going to give any real answers or indications of what he is thinking and that's what you're hearing now. The one or two times he was *honest* with the media (about Robert Griffin) he got burned in effigy.
I don't care what he says post-game. I saw his face at the end of the game and it looked just like mine did - full of disgust and disappointment. That's enough for me. I get that some view him differently.
