The Relevance/Respect train is still struggling to pick up steam.

That would have been a lot different a week ago. Something like Cowboys 20.

The Giants? Giants? Who the **** picks the Giants?

Is it because every once in awhile some sh***y Giant team wins a few games they shouldn't and surprises the world and they look sh***y now so it must be that time again? Because that's the only reason I can think of for anyone to pick that team to win anything. A team that went 6-10 last year. And the year before that. And 7-9 the year before that.

You know what? **** the *** **** **********ing Giants. **** that team. I ****ing hate that smarmy, pocket-protector-wearing-teachers-pet-holier-than-thou-bull*** organization.

I don't even care if anyone picks us. Pick the stupid Cowboys with their magical dreamy Dak Prescott.

Stop ****ing picking the Giants. They don't deserve it. They've earned nothing. The coach that willed that team to win a couple times was kicked to the curb. They are done.

**** them.

... er ... carry on.

Most of these preseason predictions of finish that put the Giants ahead are doing so simply on the basis of the qb - Manning is a veteran who has won the SB. They still don't trust that Kirk Cousins is not a one year wonder.

Then the same people will bash the team for not paying KC1 $100m ASAFP.

Of course if you look at the other divisions, in the South everyone picked the Panthers, in the North everyone picked the Packers, in the West the Cardinals got 12 votes and the Seahawks got 8. No team in our division even got 8 votes and every team got at least 3 votes. Clearly, nobody has any idea what's going to happen in the East.

You maybe could make that argument if Tom Coughlin were still head coach. But picking the Giants after the way they looked in 2015, WITH a brand new head coach in Ben McAdoo - is patently ridiculous.

I have the Giants coming in second in the division. They're in the conversation with us and Jacksonville for having the best receivers in the league.

I think the only 'sure' thing about the NFC East is that the Eagles have the least overall talent and seem to be in the midst of a major organization overall. So, their slot as the #4 team seems pretty solid.

During pregame Wednesday night, the NFL network had a poll yes/no on whether Redskins will repeat as division champions. about 73% said no.

Well, that seems to be the consensus opinion of fans but it doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that none of those who voted in the poll say just who will win it and why. They can't, because any explanation as to any other team winning the east is a over rationalization of media hype, as in Cowboys are odds on favorite with Dak. Still amazes me that they continue to get "most favored nation" status for nothing more than shiny new stadium.

How about those Browns? :)

They just can't keep their hands off ex-Redskins.

Signed Stephen Paea today.

I really don't care who picks who for what..... ya don't win games on paper. Cousins said it right.... be the San Antonio of the NFL.

the mediots didn't pick the Redskins to win the division the year after we won the Super Bowl and beat Dallas in the playoffs. They still picked Dallas

Jeron Johnson was just cut by the Chiefs and Andy Reid.

I suppose he can't complain about not getting a fair chance to compete now? :)
