Anyone pay attention to how De La Puto played at C once Rib went down?

I don't see how a loss in Philly requires a subsequent win in Dallas combined with a Giants win over Philly. A three way tie the way I see it at season's end gives us the advantage over Philly based on record vs. common opponents. However, that same three way tie would give the Giants the advantage over us based on record vs. common opponents.

Would a three way tie not benefit New York most and allow them to clinch the division?

I'll take Kiem's word, but his math doesn't add up to me. Whatever. Just beat Philly.

When he went out my other half said "Oh no! One of your players is injured!"

To which I replied... "It's only McRib, we're probably better off without him..."

We've gone 6-2 at home and established ourselves as a team this season that will not be a doormat when opposing franchises walk onto our field. Establishing a reputation as a tough out at home is a huge step in the right direction. I believe the last time we've been able to post a 6-2 home record or better was '91, so that's saying something.

We've avoided double digit losses and matched our win total from the past two seasons.

Most importantly, we might very well have found ourselves a legitimate long-term quarterback who can play in a pro-style offense.

For me personally, we aren't a Super Bowl contender by any stretch of the imagination and I still firmly believe we need two off-seasons worth of strong drafting and free agency selections to put ourselves in a position where we can achieve some long term stability in terms of competitiveness and success.

Anything that goes our way over the last two weeks is simply gravy and a bonus for us as fans. I hope Gruden has our guys playing loose on Saturday night because truly, we've got nothing to lose or be ashamed about.

People can talk all they want about how the division is a disaster, make their jokes about the "NFC Least," etc, etc. What many don't want to acknowledge is that this team has made larger strides than any of our division foes in 2015 and that we are much improved from seasons past.

If you want to laugh at the NFC East, fine. Keep the Redskins out of the equation because we are actually the team who hasn't regressed in that division.

Good perspective CH. Also want to add that folks just don't get it as far as the parity in the league this year. This year is an anomaly where as of last week of the 208 games played before last week, 109 have been decided by 7 or less pts. That is significant. What that means is that the poor records DOES NOT mean the teams are bad nor does it mean the football played is bad.

So folks just can't say we are in a weak no nothing division. The vast majority of the teams are just like us, where a win will come down to the final 2 minutes and whoever has the ball last.

Bottom line we are a competitive team, maybe not contenders, but certainly no one is going to want to play us. Add to that that Gruden has done this with a team that has suffered a large number of injuries compared to the rest of the league. That is fantastic coaching to do it with back ups.
 
Does anyone know where this store is located? Is this even real? I've seen very steep discounts before, but nothing like this.

I'd like to buy a few of these just in case something absolutely crazy happens.

If nothing else, you would think you could sell those online for 3x as much. You'd need to buy a bunch though to make it worth it.

On another note, this doesn't bode well for the value of my Daunte Culpepper signed football.
 
Yeah. I think DeSean might possibly get a tiny piece of joy out of knocking the team that publically dragged his name through the mud in order to lessen his appeal and make it alright to cut him, out of the playoffs.

I'm expecting some fireworks.
 
Definitely. DeSean has to be drooling. McCoy didn't have much an impact a couple of weeks back when the Bills played the Eagles, but you know these former Eagles players want to light Chippy up.

DeSean is probably already in Kirk's ear telling him he will be open on every play. Just throw the ball up and he'll go get it.
