Random Commanders Thoughts

Ok, which one of you owns this car? :)

Think we've all noticed better 3rd down performance this year, I figured our run game was setting up better chances.
Admittedly we're only four games in but the trend is encouraging if it continues to be what Tandler has come up with.

Reaction: The Redskins have made a remarkable turnaround in their third down conversion rate, improving from a 32 percent success rate in 2014 to 46 percent this year. What is surprising is that they have not been in easier distance situations this year. In 2014 they had an average of 7.48 yards to go on third down. This year the average is 7.54 yards. So they are putting themselves in roughly the same situations and having a much better success rate.

If the Skins play in London in 2016, let me be the first to commit to the BGO UK Tailgate :)

If I go, I'm going to drag as many of you losers along with me as I can.

Life is short. The opportunity for epic adventures are limited. I will take that opportunity and hope a number of folks here consider joining me. They have beer over there!

And epic links courses. This could be good. :)

Did I mention I am 'committing'? Drumlinboy, UK_Hog, Knightingale, MartinC, Am-welshskin, RedskinsPark_UK beware!

They won't allow me in Jolly ol England after "the incident".....

Often wondered why the guys keep their hair available to grab, seems to me that it gives potential benefit to the 'enemy' and lose advantage.

I've no problem that he has hair, had semi-flowing locks myself..... a long time ago,

Maybe he should grease it up so who ever grabs it not only loses his grip but also has to do an equipment change to get the goo off ;)

Either way, those lost yards do make a difference, tuck it in... do something.

ASHBURN, Va. – Matt Jones eyed open field; Fletcher Cox eyed something to grab onto. So the Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle grabbed the first thing he could to prevent the Washington Redskins running back from hitting that open space: his hair.

It wasn’t the first time a defender had grabbed Jones’ dreadlocks, which hang out from underneath his helmet – it happened last September at Florida in a game against Eastern Michigan. But it was the first time in the NFL.

The surprising part? Jones said it didn’t hurt.

“Nah, I just feel the momentum of it,” Jones said. “When I feel the pull, I just fall the way I’m being pulled so it doesn’t hurt me.”

What did hurt: the lost yardage.

“That would have been a bigger play,” Jones said.

Sure, grabbing the Queen's ass during a security detail and asking her if she wanted to 'salute the real Old Glory' probably wasn't in the best of taste, but I'm sure all is forgiven by now?

Pippa hasn't gotten over it yet ;)

Yup, sounds like what most of the chat was saying...Trenton got screwed. I wonder why they were after him, did they think he was Merriweather or something?
Oh I know... I was beating that drum in chat myself
