Random Commanders Thoughts

If the coaches think RGIII is ready to go next week, they wood be wise to make it a game time decision, just because. For once maybe we can try to out smart a team ourselves.

I'd be happy if we don't out smart ourselves...

Gruden says we'll see more of Tom Compton and less of Polumbus going forward.

In other news, Satan was seen sporting a new Carhartt Artic Coat and insulated bibs....

Now THAT is the best news I've heard in a LONG, LONG time.

Yea it would have been a pretty sad reflection on our drafting abilities, if neither Compton nor Moses was good enough to unseat Polumbus

If Compton gels at RT that can open up so many possibilities for D heavy draft. Dude can't do any worse than Typo.

Win, not picking on you here, please don't take it as such.

But...

I don't want a RT who gelled and is a solid replacement for TyPo. I think that's part of the mindset that has plagued this FO for too long. I watched almost every minute of the Dallas game yesterday, and wanted to vomit. Their line is absurd. Their line was opening holes up for Murray that were enormous. He fights hard for his yards, don't get me wrong, but the lanes he gets are remarkable. With that strength, they don't have to ask Romo to do much at all. The less pressure on Romo the better. I still have doubts for the playoffs for them, but they are going to be a really good regular season team. Give credit where credit is due (barf).

I. Gulp. Want to model our... sigh... rebuild... ugh...after...

Nope, can't do it. But you get the idea.

Nah I know exactly what you're saying Goal. I think it's just being conditioned to not expect much from the FO going after O-line in the draft. My armchair GM'ing would spend at least one of our 1st or 2nd rounders on a lineman every year.
O or D, wouldn't matter.

Also know what you mean by the turd's line. Both of St. Louis lines were handling the hags pretty well.

To beat Dallas we need to bring our A game. D needs to stop McMurray and let Romo throw an INT or two. Then get Morris untracked.

McCoy is a Texas product.

Expect the pukes to be looking past the Skins.

I really think we have a chance to win this game if the defense somehow hits Romo early and often.

Easier said than done, though I agree they could be looking past us. They looked impressive yesterday. It's going to be a tough game.

I'll be taking a shower now, brb.

'Rak is out the rest of the season with a torn pec. Whoever will replace his production of .5 sack...

They could easily go all the way.
Who else is there in the NFC to stop them ?
There is no other team that is truly a legit powerhouse.
It's up for grabs.
All the old "leaders" of the conference, SF, SEA, GB, and ATL have all been exposed, or crumbled, and no other team has stepped up

Interesting. If Kerrigan's production slips, that will buoy that side of the argument. I'm thinking and hoping we see more of Murphy and he impresses.

I think Murphy and Kerrigan need to switch sides. Got a feeling that it could work out really well.

I have to agree with you, Ken. Put Kerrigan on the harder side and let Murphy settle in as a starter. Ryan should be able to perform still.

Green Bay would destroy the pukes. Rodgers looks to be at the top of his game, and the pukes' secondary is suspect.

That's the first team that popped into my head too. They're record is a little suspect. They beat the Giants and the Seahawks which are strong wins... the other wins are Hou, Ten, NO (who is struggling) and St Louis. I know they dont write the schedule, but it's been a weak start to their season. The next 9 for them is Was, @ Jax, Bye, @ NYG, Phi, @ Chi, @ Phi, INDY, @ Was. That second half is more difficult then the first, but also not the hardest either.

If we can go in there on Monday night and beat them... it'll be huge for us, but I don't doubt the possibility. We absolutely CAN beat them, just comes do to if we will or not.

its weird; like our front office knew that Rak was injury prone and would need a back up.
