Okay, you're allowed to disagree with me, congratulations. The "entire basis of my original comment" is that both had red flags on draft day - one has superior talent and game-breaking potential and the other does not (as evidenced by Rambo dropping to the 6th round - who's to say he'd have even been drafted at all? Whereas someone took a chance on Mathieu in the 3rd). I can't believe I have to rehash this one more time, but BT said Mathieu had red flags, that's why we didn't draft him, and I said so did Rambo. Both have "checkered" pasts, both have moved on from them. Fred Davis had zero drug issues at USC, and here he sits one roach away from being suspended a full year. I'll take superior talent over an slightly less checkered past any day of the week.
