WP is reporting that Royster will be gone by this weekend.

The Washington Post projects Evan Royster to lose his roster spot to Keiland Williams.

Ouch. Royster was the Redskins' nominal third-down back last season, but failed to make any sort of a positive impact. Williams appeared in 14 games between the Redskins and Lions, but notched just two carries. Both players contribute on special teams. The Post also has the Redskins cutting rookies Jawan Jamison and Chris Thompson.

So you're saying Skye Dawson? I don't see it. We have receivers, keeping another underwhelming "receiver" to perform special teams duties that can be handled by someone who can actually contribute elsewhere puzzles me. Post says Royster and Thompson are gone. They're wrong in my eyes. I see Thompson sticking you say Royster stays? Royster and Williams are the same player, so one of them has to go.

#Redskins currently working on an injury settlement with undrafted rookie OL Jacolby Ashworth, per a person familiar with the negotiations.
 
Why can't Niles Paul return kicks?

I'm will not be surprised to see Royster go. We have too many people competing for spots to keep players with nagging injuries that might prove to be a solid 2nd string player.

No room for 4 TEs on the roster, and I doubt either Paulsen or Reed get cut.

I like Niles Paul for what he brings to special teams, but again, with the cap crunch still here for the remainder of this season I just don't see us keeping someone who doesn't contribute anywhere else on the team. Paul has been MIA lately.... What's up with that?
