did yall see Scot trade down last night?

Just one spot but instantly got another pick in next years draft AND the guy he wanted in this years.

THAT is what I like to see!

Yep, heard about it on the radio and was eagerly awaiting info on the additional picks, one for next year is OK.

I suppose dropping back one spot doesn't yield the multiple picks I keep hearing about from the more optimistic internet GMs I've seen

So tr, am I to understand you are NOT pleased with something the team has done?

While I wasn't initially thrilled with the pick, I've been around long enough to know that immediate impressions about a draft are often, if not usually, completely wrong. We picked who we picked. Hopefully this guy and the next seven picks will work out. We'll know in a year or so. Or a few years.

Anyway, the best part of my night was my son throwing up his hands and saying "I waited all night for THIS?"

Poor kid. Boy did he want a DT.

Agree completely with Ax.

Ax is a brilliant man.

Now we have the tall WR for the redzone we've needed for years.

I know 6'2" makes him the tall guy on our team, but I don't really consider him tall. As we would see eye to eye. Though I'm quite certain he can out jump my fat ass. Says he has great vertical hops, which will let him play taller.

Basically, I guess I just agree with Ax.

Ax is a brilliant man.

Our running game averaged 97.9 yards per game on the ground, a mediocre 20th in the NFL. They gained 3.7 yards per carry, 29th in the league. During a part of the season, they averaged three yards or fewer per carry in eight of nine games.

Not sure how a WR will improve the running game...maybe he's terrific at rooting for the defense while sitting on the bench. You see, the Skins defense was 25th in passing yards allowed, 22nd in passing touchdowns allowed, 21st in interceptions and 26th in net yards per passing attempt. They allowed 6,090 yards in 2015, the fifth most in the NFL.

I'm beginning to believe the coach really thinks he has a better running game and defense than what he had last year.

Oh well, WRs sell more jerseys than nose tackles.

Well, some people see the glass as half full. Others see a dry lake filled with ghosts and flesh eating demons.

Or, maybe an improved offense that can score 35 points a game will allow an eager defense with additional talent to pin it's ears back and attack with the fury of a thousand jungle beasts.

There's always a silver lining little buddy.

There are quality DL still available for tonight in Rounds 2 and 3.

The Broncos moving up to draft Lynch, the Giants taking Apple, etc guaranteed some front seven prospects were going to fall into Day 2.

wanted Moses cut because he was a bust. Said Scherff was a bust because Moses played his way into a spot and moved him to guard. So we have 2 busts that are doing a darn good job on the right side of the line

Oh don't look at me, the kid has his own mind. He's been researching the draft for MONTHS. Not only did he want a DT, he wanted Reed. I told him there were other DTs and Reed wasn't even the top one left on the board, and he was like 'who's board? That's just the NFL channel. They don't know anything.'

The kid is ten.

On top of that, he played DT last season and he kept watching highlights of the draftees and saying "That guy plays just like me." I should probably mention that Sam is all of 70 pounds soaking wet.

Yeah at first take I was like wtf guys with a wr? The more it's set in the more I like it. This is definitely a 2017 and beyond pick and Scott has done a damn fine job so far with the draft.

Looking back I was more pissed at Irsay than with our team by grabbing RK. Shit happens and Scott took a bonified redzone threat out of it, while adding a 6th. Not bad at all

What is it with ESPN and other media outlet's love affair with Dallas? Everywhere I look online there a stories about what Dallas did or didn't do or pics of Elliott in his Dallas hat.

Dallas was stupid they could have dropped down in a swap with Baltimore added a 4rth and still gotten that guy Jacksonville was 99.9 percent not gonna take him
