I almost have to believe that there's something going on behind the scenes where maybe he's been given specific instructions on how to manage post-snap processing and that he's just not comfortable with it. I don't think I've ever seen a QB go from confident and instinctive to robotic and ineffective so quickly. It's literally like he's been a different QB out there these past few games.
I do think that having 3 or 4 negative plays right out of the gate (which his supporting cast has been heavily contributing to) probably has gotten him into a bad headspace where he is then pressing to make something happen.
I think they'll start Brissett the last 2 games and I also feel like they should instead give Howell the chance to fight his way through his struggles.
