You have to consider this is the same "brain trust" that stated this season that they never realized just how much Sean Taylor meant to the fan base.
The idea that ownership would trust two outsiders to rebrand this team...when they cannot fathom anything about the team's history and what it means to fans.....well, it's just the final nail in the coffin and sadly "Commanders" will be the epitaph on the Redskins tomb stone.

Not just that, but the ownership group has no idea the fans hate them. They have no idea how bad it is and think it’s just the media unfairly criticizing them that keeps people away. They bring in someone new and it’s the same thing.

I slept hard last night and woke up feeling a little less negative today. Ultimately, it's about rooting for the players and coaches. The owner and front office - they have nothing to do with my fandom. I'm not happy with the name or how Wright managed the unnecessarily excruciating process. But it is what it is (a phrase I used to hate hearing, but now say on a regular basis because = Redskins). You either adapt or die. Not ready for my fandom to die.... yet.

The B&G one is just so simplistic. I don't hate the circle logo - why not use that on all of them? I'm holding out hope our logo isn't that stupid block 'W' but suspect it is. The circle would be a better logo. The white and red (that's not burgundy) jersey? How does that make it through the vetting process. That looks like a Falcons variant. If you're going to stick with the colors, stick with the colors - Jesus - can we get even basic things right? And the black one is kind of a cool idea as an alternate - but the style of those numbers is ugly as hell.
