Greg Olsen...a throwback to the 70s every time I see him.

He's also just a tad annoying to listen to, but not as annoying as Sanchez.

Wednesday injury report. The top 4 players are O-lineman, 3 of which are starters going in the game. We simply cannot have the same gameplan we had last week....

Charles is hurt?!! Nooooooooo way!!!

How in the hell does an OL get a concussion anyway?

I am not excited about today's game....gonna need to stock up on beer

I’m with you there. It’s sad that my expectations are so low, I just want them to be competitive. Those two games last year were brutal. The Boxing Day massacre made me really mad. That was by far the worst game I’ve watched in a long time.

I’m certainly not brimming with confidence about our prospects these days. Hoping they surprise us with a great performance today.

Anyone chatting today?

in fact... i already am lol

Anyone catch this? How stupid is the commanders social media to think most fans would like to see this?

Only confirms my long-held suspicion since the Wentz trade that Snyder's a groveling dog the other owners are just ordering him around to do favors for them because of his misconduct.

I had someone text me during the game and asked "Why is Davis covering Lamb". Then later, Holcomb is covering Gallup on a TD. I said at the time and I believe I've said it here too. They are letting the other team dictate the terms of the game. They are sitting back reacting, getting caught in mismatches, and hoping their guys hold up. This is happening on offense and defense. The other team is able to scheme to get their WR on players that can't cover them. And on defense, the other teams are able to get pressure and dictate where the ball will go. Maybe Turner thinks he's dictating by sending out 5 on every route while his O-Line gets beat. It just seems like the coaches think they can just have the players go out there and beat their man on every play. But that's not happening. In fact, more often than not, the other team is winning those battles. When that is happening, it's up to the coaches to scheme things to get better blocking from the line to give the QB time and for WR to get open. To get better running lanes for the RB. On defense, they need to get pressure to force the other team to adjust, to make the DBs job easier. The DBs need to be given help when they are getting beat. The LBs need to be attacking and not always on their heels and chasing WRs.

The bottom line is the coaches job is to put players in positions to succeed. I see this team and guys are too often setup to fail. No player is perfect, so they are all going to make mistakes. But it's your job as a coach to put them in the best position so they can succeed. I'm not seeing it. There are some individuals playing well, but as a team, this team is just bad from the coaches on down. I'm not going to get into the front office because now that season is in swing, you are what you are with the roster. But on the field, they just have to get better everywhere.

I was squawking about the TD to Gallup as well but as Om pointed out, that was likely a broken play after none of the first reads were open and at that point it's just 'cover someone'. After thinking about it, I doubt that was what they drew up, it just happened that way. But beyond that, yeah, it's bad. Our players don't appear to know what we are doing, forget about executing the plan proficiently.

Exhibit A
