It does occur to me that the consequences of a penalty vs a touchback are pretty marginal at this point.

Obviously you wanna force a return and get a quick stop but the penalty isn't nearly as bad as it used to be.
 
Remember that debate we had in the random thought thread about what would happen if you kicked the ball and it landed in the "landing zone" but went out of bounds and we couldn't seem to settle on what would happen?

Well, guess we settled it.

Early thoughts:

Deebo has been our best weapon.

Good to see CRod, Sinnott, and Yankoff doing well with the injuries. The run game is working.

So far Mariota looks good except for the fumble. I think he’ll be fine.

Strong d-line play, good run D and pass rush. Generally we look good up front on both sides of the ball.

Sainristil plays a lot bigger than he is, love the third down stop.
 
McLaurin has made it look easy for years but I fucking hate when receivers let the ball into their chest like that. Pops out
 
Wait did Hochuli just throw a flag AGAINST the Raiders? And in FAVOR of the Commanders? *faints*
 
Don’t want then to overuse Deebo either though. Get some of those designed touches to Lane or a RB, too. Need Deebo to last into the playoffs
 
Huh. It's still Q1 and we've already got more yards on the ground than Vegas gave up in either of their first two games.
