Official Game Thread - Week 3 - Raiders @ Commanders

I am surprised about Coleman. Playing between Biadasz and Tunsil, I thought the left side would be able to gel.

Gads. I've been totally out of the loop for 2 weeks. Been so busy at work. Missed the GB game. By all accounts, didn't miss much.

Looking forward to today, even if JD5 is out.
 
Coleman's benching is odd, to say the least. But im going to assume they saw something they didn't like from the shoulder injury.

Regardless, it's definitely concerning he can never stay healthy. He won't last much longer if he can't improve and stay on the field, particularly if the FO see this as a championship window now scenario.

I heard somewhere where he was dealing with a shoulder injury, maybe that was part of it? Also, he's changing position.

This was a thing I highlighted in the off-season: only Biadacz on our starting OL was in the same spot from last year:
LT: Tunsil (new)
LG: Coleman (New position)
C: Biadacz (same)
RG: Allegretti (New)
RT: Connerly (Rookie- new)

It was going to take some time to come together no matter what. I said I thought it would be Halloween before the line looked like it was a cohesive unit.
 
They have GOT to change the rules on defensive substitutions and how they interact with the play clock. That fat boy for the Raiders was damn near walking.
 
Deebo would’ve scored if he stayed on the right after that block from McCaffrey lol, there was nobody fast on that side of the field to track him down but then he cut left. Great return though and we’ll scored anyways
 
Well the Marty Schottenheimer gameplan is working so far.
 
Exactly what I wanted to see. Rotate CRod and Bill throughout the game and keep it up

He's just a big dude. He's always been a big dude.

I'm sure he has to do a lot of extra work to stay explosive, because honestly, he could probably play TE, FB or LB if he let himself gain a little weight.
