Street hockey stick day was the best day every year at the Capital Center. They gave them out at the end of the game so there wouldn't be any stick fighting during the game. But we had enough at our house so the whole neighborhood could come play street hockey in front of our house.

They used to give out some really quality merch in the NHL. One year in the 1980's in Montreal they gave out miniature Stanley Cups to ticket holders, but instead of plastic these were pewter and 40 years later I still have it.
