I’ve been waiting ever since the NFL starting allowing team celebrations to see this. Maybe they are waiting for the playoffs, but I agree we need to see this.
I'd be happy to see this

I want to see dominance

A few milestones I'd wouldn't mind seeing are:

Terry with a TD reception giving him 13 on the year. Would be the most ever by a Redskin
Daniels rush for 36 to reach 900 for the season. Just separates hi more from RG3
Robinson rush for 111 which means we have a good rush attack and two players over 900 yards

Luvu get 10 tackles for 100 on the season. That would give 3 100 tackle players on the year
Luvu 2 sacks for 10 on the year and 2 players in double digit sacks
Quan with 3 tackles and Mikey with 7 would give 5 players with 90 tackles

Really though it would be nice if we kicked butt and players like Sinnott, McCaffrey and McNichols had thee opportunity for quality play time and contributions

I didn’t realize that Chinn was over 100. Nice.

If Trey balance is playing, I really hope our defense is able to confused him a bit and get a few turnovers.

That said, he’s a very athletic QB so he might make a few plays.

One way or the other it sets up for a good situation for us.

We have been vulnerable to mobile QBs. I wonder if the Cowboys are secretly hoping for a Rattler effect.

Also. It’s so nice not to have a butt cheek clenching game week 18. We win, we win. We lose, we lose. But we’re in the playoffs regardless.

The absolute worst case scenario is we have to play Philly, a team we beat.

Can you imagine the tension this week if we had lost to Atlanta? Everybody would be grabbing their butts and praying for a victory.

They are going to go out and try and win this game, which they should, but worst case isn’t that bad.

They can also play it safe with guys if they want to. If this was a “win and in”game, some guys who might should rest might try to go.

Just a better scenario all the way around

I’m sure they are.

But Trey Lance hasn’t shown he can do anything in the league except play badly and get hurt.

And he hasn’t been able to pry the backup job from Cooper Rush.

But they need to get him playing time, and this is essentially a preseason game for them. So why not?

I’ll be very disappointed if our defense allows Trey Lance to look like Joe Montana.

What they’re going to do is run the ball 90 times. We need to stop the damn run. If we stop the run we win by 24 points easy. If we don’t, it’s going to be a dog fight

Shades of the Sam Howell game? 😉

Dak Prescott insisted the Dallas Cowboys were worried solely about their game against Washington and had no idea what was going on in Philadelphia with the other result they would need to win the division.

“Zero awareness of what was going on over there,” he said. “Couldn’t get off on the right foot.”

That's an understatement. Prescott completed just 14 of his 37 passes for 128 yards, threw another interception that was returned for a touchdown and the Cowboys laid an egg in their final regular-season game, losing 26-6 to the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

Despite playing their starters with coach Mike McCarthy pledging they were playing to win, the Cowboys limped into the playoffs.

Yeah I would much rather play the biggst draft bust in the last decade over Rush for sure. All they have to do is stack the box as Lance will run far better than he will pass.

I think I’m at the point I just want to win. Too many times in the past I’ve expected some massive margins of victory only to be let down. Margins in the NFL tend to be so close that the difference between a 4 point win and a 24 point win is simply a missed play or two preventing you from making a team 1 dimensional and controlling the game.

Agree.

Don’t turn the ball over and stop the run. Do those things, they shouldn’t have enough on offense to really scare us.

But if we let them run the ball and then the ball over, anything can happen.

Agreed. Also if we were to lose, it could help the cause to keep Mike McCarthy as coach. That's a win!

Hoping they can kick thee running game into high gear and contain Trey.

Rattler didn’t run a single time in that game. What he did was just drop back and throw quickly. Whereas in the first half, Haener was confused and held the ball leading to sacks. The only parallel to that game would be if they let Lance play the whole second half and have a completely different game plan.
