Official Game Thread - Week 15 - Giants @ Commanders

Is it just me, or do our guys who are 'borderline' in terms of injury always end up getting sat down? I mean - it's the NFL. Rub some dirt on it.

Seriously feeling more and more like Rivera doesn't want him out there, so any convenient excuse is becoming just that...
 
I was referring to BSJ but I can see it looks that way with CY...

I agree.

And not only that,big game,playoff implications etc and you can't push to suit up?

Different kind of athlete these days I guess.....
 
Crappy pass protection, super conservative playcalling, holding called only on one team (guess which one), blatant uncalled hit to the head of a defenseless receiver...

Yep, business as usual. Giants getting all the help they need to win this one, just call it now.
 
20 play 99 yard drive, no holding penalties, yeah that's believable...lol
 
Well, I'll let you guys watch the rest of this one. I'll spend some time with my wife and get ready for the work week.
 
Well the dream was fun while it lasted. My prediction now would be ending up 8-8-1.
 
Gotta love that OPI on the 2 point conversion going from 2 points to 0 after a missed kick. Also, Rivera choosing to punt from the Giants 34 then later the Giants go for it on 4th and 9 and making it from the same spot.
 
Looks like Heinicke's magic ran out. A fumble for a Giants TD and a fumble that cost a field goal.

But it's not all his fault. Too many costly penalties, including McLaurin's at the end. And they can't seem to figure out how to beat a blitz, while the defense can't get home with one.
 
I guess we'll get I'm sorry we missed the PI in the endzone from the league office... what a friggin joke
 
I know everyone is pissed right now, but if you really want to be pissed, go back and watch the 2nd down scramble by Heinicke. He was too worried about being a hero diving over the pylon instead of using Dotson as an easy run into the end zone. The defender was on the pylon side of Dotson. He had an easy route if he cuts inside early, but he was too worried about diving over the pylon again. By the time he realizes it, he has too much momentum going towards the corner and he starts to stumble and then gets drilled. An easy TD is right there for him, but he'd rather try to make it look heroic and it cost the game.
 
While I agree he should have cut inside, "cost the game" is not quite correct. There's no guarantee they would've made the two point conversion. Plus they had another potential TD taken away by McLaurin's penalty. Plenty of blame to go around.
 
I predicted this team was a 7 win team. Looks like the next three weeks will cement that result barring a few hundred miracles. San Fran and Dallas got fierce pass rushes and Cleveland will probably have a competent and warmed up Watson by then.
