Official Game Thread - Week 14 - Commanders @ Vikings

I'm out guys

I think the reality is we have sub par coaching on both sides of the ball. Minnesota has owned Washington today with much better schemes. My guess is Quinn, Kingsbury etc. will all be fired after next year. Our offense has most of their weapons back and has no answers. I am not sure about Daniels. I wanted Maye originally because of durability but Daniels could be doing better with coaching like Maye or McCarthy is getting this year.

Jayden looks exactly like a guy who got picked up and dropped into the middle of a season that everyone else has been playing full swing while he’s been sitting in a room.

Defense looks like dog shit again.

A top 5 pick will do wonders for this team. If we lose out, it’s going to be 2 or 3 overall. We either land a stud, add a ton of draft capital, or both.

ANNOUNCER:
There's Rodriguiez with another first down run.

To all: This is what predictability looks like. Kliff apologists: wake up, maybe? Maybe now? I won't hold my breath.

Ertz is probably out for the rest of the game....very RG3-esque with that hyperextension. Hopefully he didn't tear anything.

You got it.
Daniels would be doing much better with the better coaching.
I do not think Josh McDaniels is some wonder kid, but I do think they have a coach who knows the importance of the run game and D and forces the issue. So Maye is set there.
McCarthy has KoC. So yes, set there.
We have Kliff. And DQ. Disagreeing in pressers. All of this nonsense. So, no, Daniels is not set at all.

Maye is playing a SOS of under .400--even easier than Daniels did last year. Let's pump the breaks on this, shall we? Or not. I'm angrier than words right now, I probably shouldn't post.
Me too…and Ertz out again.

They have Diggs and Boutte and a better run game.

I couldn’t even grandstand because that website got shut down. And thankfully so because the idiots running it were dictators. I’m just laughing at folks melting down about Jayden when this whole season has been a mess. The offense I actually have a lot of belief in if they’re ever fully healthy together. That oline looked elite vs Denver.
Nah, you’re crashing out because of how much you have invested in Jayden. There are a variety of reasons he hasn’t been good this season, absolutely.

But to pretend he shouldn’t be playing today, and that his performance and/or injury, are anyone’s fault but his own is ridiculous.

He’s just not on time, and inherently reckless and now injured again.

Something looked off with JD early in the season even before he got hurt, consider me in the concerned camp.

Yes, he looked off immediately. Despite being healthy, grinding all offseason, and not being a celebrity or taking huge endorsements. He seemed to do everything right and stay focused and he looked…off…from the jump.

Puzzling.

And now he’s starting businesses and whatever else you’d expect a young athlete to be involved in, so that age of 1000% football is already over.

He just needs to improve, no excuses. This was a tough spot to come back in, good D that blitzes a lot…but he used to shred the blitz. He just straight up looks hesitant and is playing poorly. He has to be better, separate from the the roster and coaching also needing to be better around him.

Ertz hurt, looks bad, could be a career ender. If so, he has had a good one, fifth all time receiving tight end.

the good news is we may not win another game this season. Use that high draft pick and trade down.

Could be last play for Ertz’s career. The train wreck of a season continues.

Just sucks that we are going to be forced to watch this shit all over again next year with the same moron coaching staff.

It's really tough to say that JD isn't one of our problems right now. He's got the line back, got his receivers back, and has still looked really poor, just as he did early this season. He looks skittish, is making poor decisions and his consistent accuracy, something that was a real strength last season, seems to have deserted him.

Physical injuries leading to mental scars is a big concern. I was all for playing him to get his mojo back, but from what I've seen today, I'd shut him down now to recover his mind and body.
