Official Game Thread - Week 10 - Steelers @ Commanders

My most salient memory was Gus Frerotte headbutting the wall as a kid. That was the first or one of the first games I watched.

Could be a lot worse. Thank gid da bears took Caleb

Wow. I remember that. Brutal. I actually enjoyed watching Gus play - sort of an underrated player imho.

Actually, the Ravens did a really good job of it.
Daniels had 5 yards rushing today. All our designed runs snuffed out. Sure Ballmore kept him down to just 22 yards so both did great. Our OL was injured today which may have been a factor. Pitts front 7 seemed like the fastest we had faced.

My theory and main point remains: teams that get to practice for months against a mobile QB tend to do better against mobile QBs.

I saw zero rpo with this offense. They need to use some of it, or maybe I'm just smoking crack.

Maybe his ribs are worse than they are saying.

At least twice for me...Santana double bomb against Dallas MNF and Packers game where Portis screen got called back on illegal motion by James Trash then Brunell threw a pick and we lost.

Last time I broke something over a game was against Kansas City at least 10 years ago, at home, so bad and sleeping the stadium was empty by halftime.

We deserve this.

I hate losing

People are getting upset over this loss because fans have bought into the hype and lofty expectations that have been showered on this team for the last month.
Same goes for #5 too, which kinda surprises me given this team's history with QB's and longevity. Fans ought to know better: let the kid get through a season first ( something that's rare here) before you start carelessly throwing around the term Franchise QB and wrecklessly throwing him in the MVP discussion.

This team hasn't beaten anyone with a winning record. That's the reality here and a lot of folks act like the Redskins have arrived. They have a lot still yet to prove. Whether or not that happens with what's left of this season is unknown so folks may have to wait until next season and a few more talent adds, to find out.

I don't really get you on this DP. I will only speak for myself, but I'm not upset. Of course I wanted them to win but we knew this would be a challenging game especially with our guys coming in banged up. I don't think I've 'bought into the hype' because I don't think this team has been hyped. They have just wildly outperformed all expectations for a new team with a new coaching staff.

I DO think JD is that guy and this game, even though not his best performance, didn't do anything to change that opinion. Could everyone who thinks we've found our guy be wrong? I guess it's possible. But where's the evidence he's NOT the guy? Today certainly wasn't evidence of that.

I don't understand your general vibe. You know I respect you. I just don't get what you are angry about in a season like this.

I don't know that ive "bought into the hype". Ive simply watched a well coached team with a QB that is OBVIOUSLY different. Tell me Im drinking koolaid or whatever but things are different.

And we have beat a team with a winning record.
