Official Game Thread - Week 10 - Steelers @ Commanders

CRod is as close to a JAG as Alfred Morris was. In the right system, he can be very effective. I imagine if he was in the Shanahan run system, his decisiveness would pay great dividends.
Morris was no superstar...but, wow...you're giving the guy no respect 😆

Morris
Career Games
114
Rush 1429
Yds 6173
TD
35
Also, a 2-time pro bowler that averaged 100 yds a game as a rookie...absolutely smashes Rodriguez output at the same phase of his career.

 Rodriguez
Career Games
16
Rush 62
Yds 299
TD 2

Now, I totally get the angle that in a Shanahan system, maybe Rodriguez is something other than a JAG...but, to me he's the classic "never will be" to AlMo's "has been".

I think you are misreading DP's post. I think he's saying Alfred Morris was never a JAG, and that CRod is a lot better than a JAG as well.

You know how it is... you get to know members - how they post, what their attitude is, how optimistic, pessimistic, or snarky they are... easy to misread anyone's post until you have a sense of them over time. It's all good.

Has anyone reported more details on Lattimore? Is he day to day, week to week, etc? How close is he to joining the team on the field?

Gibbs left because of the impact of the Sean Taylor murder

Let's hope it doesn't come down to a FG or that our PS kicker can get it done.

It's always going to come down to kicking in one form or another. Unless they put the beat down on them early like vs the Browns or Cardinals.

I'd be amazed again if that happens. This season has been that kind of season so far though.

No Siebert/Robinson/Lattimore is going to hurt. Pretty brutal 4 game stretch with Philthy coming up on a short week.

I hope Jayden is eating his Wheaties. Going to need him to be superman.

The team could really use a bye week.

Better to have it when we do than in week 4-5 though. Especially considering we actually have a team that is probably going to be in the playoffs, finally.

seibert didnt take a hit or anything im assuming... what happened?

a hip injury has to be a joint issue right? you dont tweak a muscle in your hip do you?

guys with bad hips from my experience never get to 100% from that, which is probably bad for a kicker

Hip flexors and the gluteus muscles are involved in hip movement, so the short answer is - yes, a hip injury can be muscular.

Well good thing they never have that guy kicking the really long kicks. He needs to work out that ass, lol.

Eventually they're going to really need to hit a 55 yarder.

We just played @ New York. If i'm not mistaken, that field has been under a lot of criticism about the number of leg injuries in recent history. Wonder if he planted wrong and tweaked something in the game?
