Official Game Thread - Week 10 - Steelers @ Commanders

Possibly no Seibert and also possibly no Robinson pretty much sucks.
I'd rather we keep 2 PKs on the roster. If the signed PK doesn't work out, workout; sign another one until we have our guy and let Seibert heal up since he has been consistent. We need him for the long haul. Keep the other PK on our team too. I think it's important to have a good backup incase the primary guy gets hurt. Siebert can also punt in a pinch and is not too shabby of a punter being a PK.

No Lattimore on Sunday. I guess it was expected but still a little bit of a let down.
I more concerned about Seibert then Lattimore. He's been money, and saved our bacon more then once. I have a feeling the kicking game will make or break us this week.

Actually, I disagree. Why take someone else’s thing and try to make it yours? To me, this seems like something the last group would do. I would much rather them come up with their own idea. This just seems lame.
I disagree with your disagree
They're not trying to "make it their thing" If you go to games, you'd know that they have different giveaways and, sometimes those giveaways are towels. The towels have always been Pittsburgh's thing, but I think that handing out towels to somewhat counter those obnoxious Pittsburgh fans is a pretty good idea. It's much better than those lame "Defense" scrolls.
The funny thing is, it's not even really "their thing"...they just stole it and like to pretend they invented swinging a towel

From wiki:
E.A Diddle of the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers truly created the rally towel in the 1940s.[2] Western Kentucky would also trademark the term "The Red Towel" in 1971;[3] 4 years before Myron Cope created the Pittsburgh Steelers "terrible towel".

Though not known as a rally towel at the time — the concept had not been introduced yet — one of the first recorded regular similar uses of a towel was at Western Kentucky University, where basketball coach E. A. Diddle waved a red towel on the sideline during games.[7] Diddle, who coached at WKU from 1922 to 1964, originally used a plain white towel; the red towel came as a result of an effort to keep students from pilfering towels from the physical education department.[8] A logo featuring the towel is now used by the school's sports teams, most prominently on football helmets.[9]

...just like the Ratturds took "The Seven Nation Army" chant as their own......but it is/was a college football thing.....
There was a loud and obvious Let’s Go Bears chant coming through my tv in the 4th quarter.
Same thing at the stadium....but that's always the case when the visiting team has the home team on the ropes. You could hear "Hail to the Redskin" and "Terry, Terry!" at the NYG game.....

Damn it. BRob out again

Damn. What's going on here? How was he close and a game time decision last week and now ruled out. Did the injury worsen from practice? I think DQ said previously they would really push him... Maybe they just want him to be as fresh as possible for Philly?

Regardless it's disappointing news. No Lattimore, banged up kicker, no B-Rob.... this game is looking iffy.

It’s a hamstring issue on top of the knee issue, so I can see why they’d be cautious. I just hope he’s back for the eagles game. Really wish this week was our bye week, the team needs a rest.

The flipside of the short week against Philly is there's a 10-day mini-bye before Dallas.

We GOTTA BEAT Pittsburgh

Also, Pitt is coming off their bye week. And Tomlin has some absurd record in those situations.

13-4. Last loss came all the way back in 2016 against Baltimore
Respect the Tribe!

I’m not rooting for him this week but my fellow W&M Trobr alumn has got it going on.

Our own Dan Quinn started his coaching career at William & Mary. He mentioned his first year coaching overlapped with Tomlin's last year playing.
Yes. I’m familiar.

Sean McDermott also overlapped with them.

Coach Jimmy Laycock had quite the NFL factory down there.
