Official Game Thread - Week 10 - Steelers @ Commanders

I’m confused. Are the Steelers good?

I don’t watch them normally. It seemed to me they were over performing, mostly due to Tomlin and the culture he has there (my assumption)

I can’t take a team that trots Wilson at QB seriously anymore.

They have looked pretty good this year. Great defense. Good oline and running game. Passing game was not good, until Wilson took over for fields. In the small 2 game sample, Wilson has looked far better than we have seen him in years. Hopefully that falters against us!!
 
It's no surprise that it took until now for the team to realize to counter Pitt fans tearible towelettes with our raise hail hankies.

Since armPit fans always take over our home rink with those nasty rags, its so long overdue.

no idea how to fix my quote thing going on up there, but at vet minimum Id have no problem with russ if we didnt have a qb

I got into a fight with Jumbo and left in protest. Ended up here, and it's been fantastic. :)

I wish ill on no man (or woman), but if he was to get a paper cut and then pour lemon juice on it, I would not shed a tear.
 
I still don't know which mod it was that proved the final straw for me. Don't think it matters.

There's really no reason to go down this road, but there were 2 mods over there, Destino and MartinC who I really liked posting with. I found both to be reasonable and respectful. I don't know if others felt the same way, but those two I had no quarrel with.
 
Agreed. The past is the past. And I used to have decent conversations with Destino and even Jumbo, but who knows, and ultimately who cares, especially now when there is no chance to change minds.

I also like the all black ones.

To me these are fun for like a game.

I think I’m in the small minority though. Seems like people hate the alt jerseys

The black unis are fine, but not for the burgundy and gold. Maybe for the Maroon and Black.
 
So usually yeah I’m a contrarian in many ways.

But also I have zero fashion sense. Which is probably the better explanation 😂
 
What really just irks me is what they call burgundy IS NOT FREAKING BURGUNDY. It's more red than anything.

This isn't burgundy on burgundy, it's red on red with a yellow number and looks like a reverse hotdog.

I prefer the all blacks to these. I actually don't mind the black, and once in a while they're a cool change.

I want them to just go back to the old color scheme with a slight refresh.

Also, grump grump and get off my lawn.

The one good thing about wearing a color jersey (vs. the white, which they don't do at home anyway), is it puts the Steelers in their white jerseys, which isn't the classic steeler look. They look like the Steelers in black.

There used to be a thing where you always tried to put the Cowboys in blue because the cowboys didn't look like the cowboys in blue. Same kindof holds true with the Steelers.
 
Ok so I definitely do take issue with not using burgundy and I feel like that started a while ago
