Pretty good stuff from Keim and Paulsen

I thought this was good, too. Especially for a couple of guys outside of Ashburn.

It’s a lot of fun to hear analysts that are almost as excited about what’s going on with our team as we are.

The entire league is glad to be rid of Snyder.

The NFL office I think is sick of a major media market being a laughingstock.

I don't doubt that's true but I don't think it is what's driving the more positive assessments. There is a ton of respect for Adam Peters and Dan Quinn and what they've done already in DC. It goes way beyond the Snyder stuff.

Our defensive backfield still scares the :poop: out of me and not in the positive defensive way

I think St. Juste is a decent corner and could be good with better coaching. Michael Davis is solid and will likely replace Forbes once that experiment ends. We added Sainristil who by all accounts is a star in the making, and we are stocked at safety. I think we might be on better shape than we believe.

If we weren't facing Evans and Godwin I'd feel better, not good but better, imo we're going to have to be in Mayfield's face all day or I see us getting torched in the defensive backfield.

No one can quantify what a team that turned over 61% of its personnel is going to do in Game 1.

That said, I am not convinced that with two really good seasons out of seven in the NFL, Baker Mayfield has established himself as an elite passer at this point.

Quinn's style on defense is aggressive so one would think Tampa is going to try and run the ball and throw wide receiver screens and slants to get the ball out quick and get YAC on us.

Forbes to me is the weak link on the entire roster.

Other players that have yet to prove themselves in the NFL are either guys that really showed well in camp and the preseason like Sainristil and McCaffrey or were selections by THIS front office such as Brandon Coleman that the team seems to have a lot of confidence in.

But Forbes? He was over-drafted by Rivera, didn't look good last year, didn't look particularly great in camp or the preseason this year and seems to only have his designation as a former #1 pick to recommend him.

I wonder how long it is before Bobby Price at 6'3 and 205 is called up from the PS to help out at cornerback.

There are only 10 starters from last year starting this year. Four on offense, four on defense, 2 on special teams.

All I can say for sure is that Sunday is going to be very strange.
