What I hope happens is that Peterson comes out and runs for 150+ yds. The Redskins control the clock and keep the ball for 40 minutes. They can salt away the win late on the ground. The Redskins defense shuts down Elliott and keeps him to about 50 yds. That would be so glorious on so many levels. Not the least of which would be the old man Peterson on a cheap contract vastly outplaying the shiny overpaid new toy on the other side.
What I expect to happen is that the game is close throughout the 1st half. Then the cowboys make some plays in the 2nd while the Redskins make little to none. Yes, I know I'm taking the cliche answer of what happens most of the time, but it's what I expect. Please, please, please Redskins, prove me wrong. I want to be wrong about this.
