Why activate Williams from the PS just to leave him inactive. Maybe Gibson progressed faster than they thought, but again... mismanagement.

Well, according to Tony Romo about 8 times this game, they are going to the Super Bowl. I guess running up on the score on the weak teams takes you there.

Romo is a smart guy, however, how does he know what a Dallas superbowl team looks like capt has one more playoff win more than Tebow.
 
That was a good Dolly concert. Thank goodness they canceled the game for it.
 
How embarrassing a second time for the Taylor family. They should never want to be around this franchise again.
 
Here is my hot take from this game. If they had this offensive game plan for the Bears and 2 Giants games, they would be in the playoff hunt. Into the 4th quarter, the offensive game plan was brilliant. Control the ball, keep the defense off the field.

There were 3 offensive plays that changed the game. The Robinson dropped pass on 2nd and 2 in the first quarter. He catches that he probably turns it up for the first down. But even if he doesn’t, they have 3rd and less than a yard to keep an early drive going. Instead they end up punting.

The other 2 are the failed 4th and 1 calls in the 2nd half. Can we get a QB sneak in this offense? If they don’t want Howell taking those hits, bring in Brissett. He’s bigger and he’s done that at other stops. But if they want to get creative, have Thomas come in behind center and sneak it. He’s a former QB. But that would take some creativity, which this coaching staff doesn’t have.

The game is completely different if they make those plays. The last failed 4th down led to the Lamb TD, which pretty much put the game out of reach. Dallas did what they have been doing after that to make the score a blowout. But even if they only get FGs on the first 2 instances above, it’s 23-16 into the 4th quarter and if they convert that last 4th and 1, they are driving with a lot of pressure on Dallas in the 4th quarter.

I think a lot of people will get caught up in all that happened the last 10 minutes of the game. But a few little things done better before that, and the game is in reach when you want it to be.
 
Yeah, the fourth down plays were killers. Not because we failed, but because we made ourselves predictable. If Howell is under center then the defense focuses first on the run. Making the defense guess helps especially when their line can dominate ours.
 
The shotgun plays when we need a single damn yard need to be stricken from the playbook. That's just patently stupid as Tony Romo politely pointed out to a national tv audience.

I'm just about out on Bieniemy the OC.

He gives a good presser/interview but when it comes to game plan and scheme, he has no clue.

When he calls a successful run, he doesn't build off of it. Really, he doesn't build off anything. There's no method to anything or identity to his offense. What do we hang our hat on? As Doc Walker asked on Twitter, What's our bread and butter play(s)?
Running out of shotgun appeared futile from the start of the game yet he refused to switch to something else,even in short yardage.

Good OCs also know how to scheme to their best players. Bieniemy can't seem to figure out how to do even that. Terry is basically an after thought in this offense. Finally have a Qb capable of getting him the ball but the OC can't scheme him up.

I'm ready for January. Ashburn needs an enema....
