according to the site...I don't think I knew that. I was just going off the general practice of free practices.

I disagree.... I do want to see reps, im' just wondering how much they want to see given what they have already seen? We'll know in 24 hours.
Considering our much talked about difficult early season schedule, you would think they would want to step up the reps for the starters this year. But I guess that’s just not their style. So terrified of injuries, yet we seem to get way more than our share of them anyway. And as a season ticket holder, I’m forced to pay full price for tickets to this meaningless game that I have zero interest in attending. Sorry to be a such a grouch, I know other teams do the same thing, but it just seems so damn greedy for a team trying to rebuild a fan base to do this to their most loyal paying customers.
Thanks, PP! Doesn’t make me feel any better about it lol, but appreciate the information. Good to know I’m helping subsidize small market teams. But that 27 million per team is barely peanuts compared to the TV money split. Seems a little penny wise dollar dumb as they say on the part of the NFL, but they know far better than I what makes them the most money. I feel like they’d sell more tickets to both the preseason and the regular season if they were priced accordingly. Any revenue loss on cheaper preseason tickets would at least partially be made up for by the extra money spent on game day with more fans in the seats.I dont know if it's that simple. Yes, i agree, full price for the tickets is dumb, but the NFL likely would throw a fit if a team decided to do something about it. Teams are responsible for 34% of their ticket sales getting shared into the revenue pool. The NFL would lose their shit if they cut pricing on some of their games, because it cuts the amount getting sent into that pool. I simply don't think it can be changed on a team by team basis? Has any other team discounted their preseason tix?

I guarantee you they’ll be charging full price for concessions and everything else tonight, does that stuff fall under the same split?
Tonight's Uniforms:
I always thought it made sense to wear your lighter jerseys in Summer heat
Yes, that's the theory I was referring to. Granted 7pm is not 1pm,and I'm sure you're correct that it probably won't matter nearly as muchKickoff is at 7pm... don't think sun is going to be an issue.
I believe the theory behind this is that the darker color absorbs the sun / temperature more than White...

It's not really a theory. Dark-hued clothing absorb most wavelengths of visible UV sunlight, creating more heat. Light colors refract much more of that energy.
Definitely wear light colored clothing if you're going to be in the sun on a hot day. The difference can feel upwards of 20-25 degrees on a 100 degree day.
Yeah. Maybe I'm old school, I think preseason games matter. You can get all the reps you want in practice, but the QB isn't "live." There's a different intensity if you know you can get your clock cleaned.Daniels got lots of pass attempts last off season - he just didn't have them in preseason games. I'm not sure that was a big factor in our season... him being injured 4 times was though.
I agree on the biggest priority - 'game action' for Blough and Daronte Jones - who need every second of it. Only other real priority in preseason is avoiding injuries.
Has anybody seen a list of players not playing?
