Official Game Thread - Playoffs Week 2 - Commanders @ Lions

I guarantee Torbert starts calling holding on our offensive line on this drive. Damn we needed to score on that first drive of this half.

Sorry but if we lose this game the officials in this game should be removed from ever reffing another game
Well, they are probably carrying out Roger's orders. Multiple holds on their first TD drive, multiple uncalled blocks in the back on Jameson's TD, then the abomination of the facemask and multiple holds on the last TD drive. That's 21 free points.

Good thing that bad calls don't influence the outcome of games, right?

Who said they don’t influence the outcome? My thing is that they screw everyone so why spend the entire game crying about it. Of course they influence games. Ruin them sometimes. But it happens to almost everyone throughout the season. Almost every team’s fanbase spends the season thinking they’re getting uniquely screwed by the refs.

You’ve posted every single perceived missed penalty in here (a bunch of them you were correct on, of course). Are you paying as close attention to our uncalled holding penalties on offense, for example? I doubt it. You’re hyper focused on their missed penalties but not ours.

My thing is that issues with refs are USUALLY (not always) confirmation bias so it’s pointless to make too big a deal about it

Sorry to trigger you. I call it like I see it. You are not obliged to agree.

Free Lions timeout to cut a guy's sock off on the field??

I have no problem with the holding if they are not calling it on both sides. I have issues with the blatant missed/ bad calls

Illegal hit on Daniels. Can't believe they called it. Jerkoff Lions fans boo.

what a cheap shot
glad they called that one
Probably should have been ejected. It was not a football play, it was a blatant attempt to injure either out of frustration or coach's orders.

Dyami wasn't down. Edit: Yes he was.

Butt and elbow down, 4th and 1. Do we go for it?

More automatic than a tush push and actually a football play vs a rugby play
