I wonder what it is that they hate CRod? Everytime they've needed tough yards and used him, he always performed.

Doc Walker recently commented: They treat him like he's late for meetings.

I don’t think they hate him at all. I rather think they like him.

What people don’t seem to understand is they like McNichols more. He is the third running back and CRod is #4.

I posted this a while ago: when they activated Ekler from air they had to make a roster spot and they released a DT. But they still left a tough game day active roster conundrum because you can’t have 4 RBs active unless the 4th does something else (ST, KR, punt return, etc) because you run into a numbers game.

I said then it was likely CRod was going to be a game day inactive and people were going to be disappointed.

Rightly or wrongly (I happen to think rightly) they like McNichols more. Which pushes CRod out of the lineup when all three starting RBs are healthy.

Forrest can’t break the safety lineup behind Chinn and Quan Martin. He’s a reserve and both of the starters have proved to be very durable. Quan was out one game, and Forest played a little. But they generally go 2 safeties and 3 CBs.

Last year they played a lot more safeties because Ron and Jack didn’t seem to think LBs existed. Which is odd since they both played LB and Ron had a few really good ones in Carolina.

It’s currently only a 6 point game. So… could happen.

I don't think Ekeler was gonna be impacted by Chris Rodriguez status

He's on another level from anyone else on this roster.

Green Bay has squandered so many opportunities. If they don't find a way to win this - they will be regretting their performance in this one for years. And Jordan Love has some talent, but he has missed some easy TDs tonight. Maybe it's the elbow, I don't know, but the opportunities have been there.

Both are true but you can’t have 4 RBs active on gameday. And McNichols is better inside than CRod can backup Ekler. So McNichols gets the nod.

The only shot GB has is to score before the 2 minute warning without using a TO. Then they could possibly get the ball back without having to convert an onside kick
