Every single one of the first round DLine picks by this team never played up to what they were supposed to be. Payne and Young were the worst of them all

I think it's perfectly fine that he said what he said. Remember a few years ago when fans were upset at Ravens players mauling WRs towards the end of games? I forget what the benefit was, but there was a clear one at the time. Sometimes, you've got to put your foot down and say enough is enough. We'd be livid if it was Daniels getting flattened every play by a linebacker jumping over the line before the ball is snapped. It was entertaining for me to watch, but it's also an injury risk to let it go on indefinitely.

Any play that is 90% successful, despite the defense know that it is coming, is unsportsmanlike.

The fault should lie with the ****eaters running it as a short yardage offense, and not those desperately trying to stop it.

Unfortunatey, we are stuck with Payne through 2025 and then we can release him in 2026. Allen is another story and hopefully the team moves next year whether he's traded or released.

Really? Your proof that he didn't try to convince the medical staff he was fine is because you didn't see him on the field? You're a reasonable poster most times, but this is unreasonable. I won't say Payne was awesome or anything, but if he's injured and the medical staff says he's done, he's done. You don't know better than the team's staff.

Then the team should have been more than he is out with its report. Details. With how Payne has played all year this just felt like a let down . And Payne himself was silent

If a team gets a set of players who are capable of running a play to perfection, it is not the NFL's responsibility to punish them for being good. Good team's keep them in third and longs enough times to beat them. We even did it ourselves a few times.

nah, I meant his tone. he was angry lol. those were in no way intentional, especially the first and third one. first was them just trying to anticipate snap. third, they jumped on a hard count. then Hochuli decided to use his pissy voice. I have no problem with the rule.

So if the Skins had a dominant Oline and employed the Tush Push, you'd be mad about that,right? You'd want it outlawed, correct?

Does the team need to publish a player's full medical record every time he visits a doctor? Do they need to put a red circle around his fracture on an x-ray so that the fans get the full details? Or are you saying that this team's staff is so unqualified that fans can decide better than the staff on how injured their personnel are, and that he staff can't decide what to do without the fans' input on player's medical history?

So if the Skins had a dominant Oline and employed the Tush Push, you'd be mad about that,right? You'd want it outlawed, correct?

If the league had a rule that banned it but refused to stop it and then changed the rule to allow it I would not defend it

Right now, the tush push is legal. I don't blame the D for trying to cheat the snap count as it's really the only way to counter it, but I can't complain about the Eagles and Bills using it over and over again.

Yeah... it's pretty lame to watch. I wouldn't care for it....

I think our OL is fine. Injuries took their toll but the pocket today vs the #1 D was pretty damn good. Our run game/scheme was lacking but think much of that was BRob and Kliff running into the teeth of the D far too often. Was hoping for a lifeline and CRod to be active but coaches fav journeyman McNichols fumbled instead.

I would. The offense already has enough of an advantage by knowing the snap count. It should be outlawed for all.

No but they have to follow league rules and it felt like they did not - just like the rams not putting their QB on the report with broken ribs...

Glad you're not the GM. Oline needs talent. I would like to get back to our roots of pushing people around in the run game.

I haven't heard of any league rules about needing to tell fans exactly how injured "injured" means. When teams say a player is questionable to return, nobody bats an eye. Why is this now the breaking point aside from misguided anger?

Agree. I think our oline overachieved like so many other units did this year. I think our starters are okay, but the drop off to our depth is rough. That said, I actually think Scott seemed to hold up pretty well playing out of position. One of the few who probably deserve credit for a good game (unless the tape later proves otherwise.)

Yeah, disagreed with ya earlier, but agree with ya here....if a player wants to play with an injury and is on the active roster, what's the issue?

Payne would've done the same if he wasn't "phat, and got dat cheese"(money).

The issue is that good teams don't let players overrule the staff on whether they get to play through injuries. RG3's postseason injury is our own very memorable example of why that's a horrible idea.

Sure, a finger is different from a knee. But staff should NEVER let the players overrule staff. Ever. And if staff says you're done, you're done.
