Yep. A very good sign that the omerta has been lifted.
 
We are looking like the Raiders under Al Davis where he only owned a percentage of the team and had myriad partners.

Harris at 30% ownership is a bit low though in my mind.

I was hoping he was going to embrace DC as a local and sell his share of the Devils.
 
6b is a whole new world financially. This is going to be common place in the future.
 
Exactly, Chris. The list of individuals who can stroke a $6B+ check is thin. Then remove the folks the NFL won't accept (Russian oligarchs, Middle East royalty, cartel heads, etc) and the list goes from thin to anorexic.

The future of the NFL is in groups of wealthy owners.
 
Next owners/league meetings are scheduled for 22-24 May. I have to believe that this deal gets done by then and is voted into reality. Let's get this thing done once and for all so we can all move forward in a Dan Snyder-free era...
 
The Snyder ownership drama is in some ways similar to the MASN nightmare the Nationals and MLB are dealing with, while you can imagine the end of the process and getting a new deal in place it just seems to drag on and on and on.

The Broncos sale seemed to be Step 1, Step 2, Step 3. Done.

Nothing with Snyder is that easy.
 
Hell yes - hopefully this is accurate. The reporting by some outlets on this has just been God awful. AJ has had it right just about every step of the way so I'm putting some faith that it's about to happen.
 
Sounds to me like Snyder’s lawyers making veiled threats that the sale could be held up if Snyder doesn’t get assurances on some of the leagues report being held back. There’s too much momentum for this to be the case - with reports that the NFL finance committee has approved the Harris groups bid and the league owners voting in 10 days. Just one last pathetic attempt to wiggle out of culpability and it isn’t happening.

Ditch the mascot
Move to the RFK site
Change the name to the Redskins

Then I know when I die my kids will have the proper football legacy left to them.
