ES was great…until it wasn’t. The censoring of opposing voices, the prevailing ‘better than you’, ‘smarted than you’ dynamic that evolved together with the heavy-handed approach not only exercised but celebrated by the moderators made it impossible to enjoy for me.

That is what led me here. Respected and respectful people who are not on a power-trip. After all, I am simply a fan of a game for entertainment purposes. Not one to be treated like a child by narcissists who have a jumbo-sized opinion of themselves.

Pretty much how I felt as well. Every week I would be threatened with a ban from the admins.

Well be careful around here, negativity is met with a thoughtful and conversation provoking post that usually includes respect with a spattering of sarcasm and good natured ribbing.

As some of our new members found out this week, we also host a game chat on the site every game day which is a ton of fun. We have some great site contests every season - too late to join in this season but hopefully our new folks are here for the long haul and can join in the fun and compete for some great prizes next year.
