NFC East Breaking News

That’s a good trade for the Jags. Bigsby had fallen to third on the depth chart behind Tuten, and Etienne had a big game, and is sure fire #1. Getting two picks in next years draft is great business, imo.

Damn, no one can say Howie isn't afraid to pull the trigger on roster moves. He has made a ton of them and yes, Jags got the better of him on this one

That title is apparently the worst form of clickbait. Apparently, the only thing the article says about Harris is how strenuously he made sure that neither he nor his business had anything to do with Epstein.

Yep. I think that’s what’s dangerous about the whole thing… rich people talk to rich people.
Doesn’t always mean nefarious things or guilt by association.

The details that ESPN included on Tisch come across as nefarious to me.

Yeah, not just guilt by association - or at least it doesn’t sound like it

Shit, one more reason to be happy not to be one of the richest dudes in the world. If you've somehow been caught in a random pic, or been on a boat, or visited one of his many estates, you must be a total pervert who is going after teenage girls.

No politics here, right?

I don't think it's got anything to do with 'politics' - it's just the result of the 'Me too' movement. That movement gained so much traction probably because sexual harassment and abuse was so rampant and often occuring without any consequences. With abusers as horrific as Epstein and Weinstein, there is going to be a lot of tar and anyone associated with them in any way is at risk of getting burned by it even if their association was casual or incidental.

Then again, some of those associated will deserve to get burned.

What do stories about sports team owners and Epstein have to do with politics?

When in doubt, I'll leave it alone. And I do agree that it's more of the me too movement that a political story. This is Google reply:

is the epstein story political?

+11

Yes, the Jeffrey Epstein story is deeply political, functioning as a "toxic blend" of power, crime, and influence that has drawn in high-profile figures from both sides of the political aisle. While centered on sex crimes, the fallout has become highly political, particularly in the US and UK.
