Next Day Thread: You Must Be Lion

Incredible run! I dont remember a Washington team this good and this confident since i became a fan 30+ years ago! A team, that on paper doesn't really scare anyone, made out of a bunch of budget one year signings. We are quietly (or maybe not so quietly) making history here with an elite rookie QB and a bunch of role players. Great time to be a Skins fan!

But they did exactly what I felt they needed to. There were so many plays made on offense, defense, and special teams it is difficult to laundry list them. Time after time after time guys just made the plays that were needed. This team believes it can beat anyone, anywhere, any time - it's not just a lockerroom slogan.

This is real. It's not some freak lucky accident.

Spot on. I knew when we have all 3 phases of thr game doing what they can do that we could beat anyone. Man this was such a sweet win. I thought thr Lions were the best team in the NFL. I truly believe we can win 2 more games!!!

I looked at the end of the game again and focused on Scott. He's big and in the plays I watched he was fine or even good. Cosmi is one of the few players who underperformed expecations this season. I really saw him taking the next step to very good/great but he was not even close to that. I agree with you, I think we'll be fine. But we absolutely have to double Carter on every snap.
 
I'm sure Anthony Lynn felt particularly good about the spanking we put on the Lions, especially considering the way Campbell demoted and then dumped him from that staff.

I dont know if it really is a surge of confidence. It started pretty early in the year and each game most fans were at ease and felt confident we would win. When in previous years we all just expected to lose those games. We have playmakers. They just needed to build chemistry. And it seems they are ahead of the curve on that. HTTR

Back then, we didn't have no hi-falutin' fancy electronics. Binoculars, transistor radio with an ear bud to follow play-by-play and injury reports, and we had to pay attention because there was no jumbotron.
We also walked 5 miles through the snow, uphill to get to the game.

and the walk was uphill both ways too.
 
Zane starting the game by kicking off out of bounds and then ended it missing a FG. Donked the upright on a chipshot the week before. .... is his roster spot a lock? No one should ever question why Quinn goes for it on 4th down in FG range.

Just saw a different angle of the Luvu hit on Goff, on ****ing TikTok, of course. In the angle from behind Luvu, it looks like a head to head collision. There is another angle from Goff's right side and you can clearly see that there is no head to head contact. It's head to upper chest, and not leading with the crown. They got the call right. They didn't miss it. So, if Detroit wants to to the, "what if", mental gymnastics, they can just subtract 7 from their score for the TD they scored after we stopped them and they got the fake face mask call. We win by 21.
