Don’t disagree, but some counter points came to mind:
Daniels was limited in practice and that (according to DQ) affected his game. We could still give him some practice reps this week and then a full week of reps going into the playoff game.
If Biadasz sits to heal up and some of our tackles are banged up and/or sitting out to recover, I don’t love the idea of putting Daniels up against a pretty dangerous pass rush (assuming Parsons/Lawrence are playing, which I don’t know).
Quinn said flatly they are going to try and win this game. Seeding is important. I read that as "yeah, we'll go to Philly if we have to, but honestly, let's play somewhere else first."
Without Lamb, they shouldn't have enough on offense to beat us regardless.
I expect us to be careful, but not conciliatory, in this game. If there are guys who could go but it would be better to get them a week off, they might not.
Daniels will play. I think, however, you're going to see a ton of quick stuff to get the ball out of his hands lightening fast, and I think you're going to see a lot less of him being presented as a run threat. I think you're going to see a boatload of CRod, McNichols, and BRob. Maybe in that order.
My guess is Biadacz sits unless he's really fine. I don't know about the status of either Wylie or Lucas. What I do know is you do NOT want Trent Scott playing in the playoffs. Don't really want Deiter playing in the playoffs either for that matter. But he did much better last game than he did in his first appearance. And Allegretti seemed to take over the role of making the line calls, so maybe that's how they play it if Biadacz is out.
