Another alternative design could be to make the spear tips into pig ears and the W into a pig nose. Then add some feathers. 😉

So they took the awkward taco-holder W, slapped a circle and some spears on it, and called it a day. Like someone else said, it looks like a lazy AI treatment.

Honestly, it’s just lipstick on a pig...and ironically, if they’d just chosen a pig, we’d be some version of the Hogs right now and probably wouldn’t be debating how trash our branding is.

I get it. The original is the most uninspired effort of all, I think we all agree. Usually “change for the sake of change” is not inherently good. I think it would be very hard to do worse than the original Commanders branding, so I’m open to whatever personally. For most of us, we’ll never ever love it no matter what. So I’ll settle for different

As for the logo, it’s ok. I’m never going to be ‘excited’ by anything associated with the Snyder name, but it’s fine.

The speculation leans toward its for the 32 NFL teams, anchored by the Washington franchise. Could also mean 1932.

I'm clearly in the minority, because I actually like the W. Especially the burgundy one outlined in yellow.

It pops on hats, shirts, sweatshirts, etc. No one else is using our colors, so when I see that color combo, I know who it is.

The Giants use an NY. The Packers a G (not even a GB). The Niners, an SF, and the Bears a C (that they copied from the Reds). Yet, we're the uninspired, unoriginal ones, because we're using a letter? I don't get it.

The Super Bowl-era uniforms from last season are as close to perfect as we can get at this point. I'm hoping they become permanent.

I'm with you, I think some tweaks can be made to really make it good, but i think there's a foundation there. The basic 'yellow' one leaves a bit to be desired, but I do agree the Burgundy with the gold outline is vastly better with that one contrast. We are the Burgundy and Gold. The Burgundy should be the primary color in the logo.

I would vote on keeping the current logo as is.

See, I like that, but i understand the lack of contrast, i wonder if we could integrate a white border somewhere, either inside the gold, or outside of it... i'm at work so i can't mess with it too much

I really like leaning into the greco-roman stuff. -as long as it is planned, rolled slowly and not to the point that it buries the brand ripped from from us. (I don't think that will be an issue with this ownership[group.) The WOS regime honestly took it as far away from our true identity as they could without formally changing our official colors.

SB Era uniforms with a spear element and sending the "crest" to the trash can gets his franchise closer to honoring its roots and probably as much as possible absent changing the current name.

Good poll. You would think those categories cover everyone, but I’m not sure which one I fit in. I’m kind of a combination. I am at peace with Redskins being gone. But I will never embrace the commanders name because of Snyder. I would’ve embraced pretty much anything else new they came up with but that ship sadly has sailed. That said, since we’re stuck with it I do appreciate the attempts to improve the branding. And I think the Roman theme is good, considering what they’re working with. In the very least, it’s certainly an improvement over the current commanders theme, which is far as I can tell is nothing.

I don’t disagree on its face, but the feeling I get from social media is that some people are still very much in the return Redskins or rebrand again crowd. I don’t think they will engage if that isn’t an option, and even now I don’t want to shut out people that still feel that way.

Basically, I’m trying to see where we are now in 2026 with all this. Are more people getting past it and ready to move forward with where we are…or not.

Yeah, because owners have never said one thing and done another. 😁

I know there’s very little hope for another rebrand (and zero hope of going back to Redskins), but that doesn’t mean I have to pretend to like it. I wasn’t going to vote if he didn’t add the option, because I didn’t fit into any of the buckets. Maybe it skews things but not in my case.
