Name That Washington Player

No, sir.

Correct side of the ball, wrong era.

I had that same thought but the order is wrong and there are 2 teams missing.

Nick "The Trashman" Giaquinto was one of my favorites under Gibbs. If my memory serves correctly, Gibbs used Giaquinto as the very first H-back in NFL history when he invented the position largely to deal with Lawrence Taylor. Clint Didier would later take on much of that role in the offense after Giaquinto's retirement following the '83 season.

We have a lot of new members, so I figured I would bump this thread on a Sunday we have off to give it some new life. Just continue with Bulldog's most recent clue to join in on the fun...

I’m pretty sure that Smoot was Redskins-Vikings-Redskins.

This thread graduated to a pretty obscure level that even Google had a difficult time with.

Wrong thread

Why limit the criteria to just the teams they played for?

Personally, I think it would've been more fun to list any facts about a player. Could be a play he made, something about him that was unique, whatever... such as 'Once told Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor to lighten up Sandy baby...'

Just a thought.

I like it.

The Diesel.

I got in trouble in Redskins training camp for hitting too hard.

I got in real trouble later.

Raphel Cherry

Correct. Paroled July 2023.
