Music Recommendation Thread

I can't imagine the amount of $ you have in all of your instruments, amps and all the paraphernalia
Thanks man I really appreciate that! It's been a lifelong passion and hard core collection. Alot of trial and error. I have had alot of custom work done on various pieces by the guys that took care of Hendrix, David Gilmour, Jimmy Page, SRV and a ton of other famous artists.

Off the top of my head?
Two pedalboards, pedals, power supplies and high end patch cables, with pro travel cases. $10k
Pedals on the shelf $5k
Guitars 8 each, $35k
Amps, 5 each, $18k
Net net? Roughly? $70k...over 50 years

I estimate my Redskins card collection to be about the same! 🤣🤣🤣

Sorry I am derailing the thread

Holy crap. That is way more than I would have guessed. I guess that shows it is a true passion lol.

Old school different...Root Boy Sim and the Sex Change Band - Boogie til you puke

Long intro, music begins around 1:35

Kix! I saw them at Hammerjacks! It was a great show.

DWinzit since you opened the door?

I remember sitting on my deck at night learning this song while overlooking the ocean in New Smyrna Beach Florida. The house was right on the beach. Old school cassette player learning by ear; play, stop, rewind, play. It was pretty cool that night because there was a ton of lightning out in the ocean.

I made over a 1200% profit on that house when I sold it

Was that Dupree?
I listened to DC101 back then...

And I've seen Tesla twice in Jax, once in a club and then when they opened for Def Leppard.

I think I also saw Tesla at Hammerjacks

I saw part of one of their shows around 81 or 82 I think. I was at the full show but recall some of it...oh the 80's :smiley-simmons:

I am an upstate New Yorker but heard all about Hammerjacks. In college I dated a girl from Towson who always talked about that place and had a jacket of theirs

Tesla - great dudes. Got to hang with them on their bus one afternoon before a gig. Got to jam a bit with Frank and Tommy. Great times! They are as down to earth as you get. This all happened during their reunion tour in the early 2000s.
