Yeah, I missed it too. And I agree, Jones has to prove he can get buy Glover. Jon Jones has to improve his boxing skills. He doesn't really have a KO punch and needs to take advantage of his lengthy reach with a good sharp jab. He has so many other skills he's been able to beat everyone, but the talent is catching up and Glover could be a huge awakening for him.

I think what you meant to say is that your "friends watch every ufc and shows, except for the UFC on FOX, and UFC on Fuel TV" ? :)

Because in 2013 alone, Manuwa was on the Main Card, in 2 UFC Fights, and won both of them by TKO
 
I agree somewhat on the tune-up part.
But my point is that Jimi is no pushover.
Kid can land some nasty flurries.
If he wasn't like 34 or 35, I would say he has a very bright future ahead in the UFC.
Even so, even at this age, I could easily and definitely envision him beating a Top 10 fighter in the division in the near future.
We ain't talkin about Patrick Cummins or Cummings here !

Of course Gus was totally saved by the bell in the fourth round ... unless I'm thinking of another fight.

I have to admit, while I recognize he's a hell of a fighter I just don't like Gus. I think he moves like a weirdo. :)

I like Woodley, he's a beast, but he should not get a title fight for this victory. He got lucky Condit got hurt. Condit was going to make him go the distance and take him out...

Woodley should have to fight Diaz first for a chance at the title fight. Diaz needs to be forced to fight someone like Woodley before he gets a title fight anyway. He hasn't done anything but mouth off since he lost to St. Pierre anyway, heckling Hendricks and saying he'll return if it's a title fight.

Edit: Hendricks took the last round...he won. Looks like the judges got it right this time.

I'm glad to see it's on tv for free this time. That Dollaway fight looks good too.
 
Wow! That's all I have to say about that entire card. That was pretty awesome.
 
I was sitting there watching Henderson take that beating for the 1st 2 rounds thinking Herb Dean was close to calling it and that Henderson is done. Dude is going to have serious effects from his years in the ring.

When he landed that right hand dead on Shogun's nose, I figured Dean was going to give him the same consideration before stopping the fight he gave Hendo. Kinda surprised he did call it so quick, until I saw Shogun fall dead on his back after trying to stand up. His nose splattered!

Forgot the fights were on and didn't catch the under card, but saw the highlights and am sad not to have seen some of the fights...especially Dolloway.
 
Yea, I was thinking, not only is this fight practically over, but so is his career.
Hendo just proved that he can be a 43-year old, hopping around on one leg, completely gassed out, and could be blind-folded, and he's STILL a threat to knock you silly with just one right hand.
It's just a question how long he can survive at this point in his career, while depending on that one trick, the way his own chin is deteriorating.

I really don't care. They will weigh in "the same" but Rousey will easily be 20-30 pounds heavier when the fight goes off. Carano got spanked by Cyborg, she is not the fighter she was billed to be...just a name to sell tix.

Kinda getting tired of women fighters to be honest. Who wants to see some angry bitch (Rhonda Rousey) beat the crap out of women 20-30 pounds lighter than she is?
