Fear, real fight fans know Weidman was dominating that fight. Neither win was a fluke for Weidman, he's a better fighter than Silva...today.
 
I won a lot of money on that fight, but I wish it didn't end like that.

I was thinking that also. It looked like Ronda was toying with her. I think she really wanted to beat Meisha without using the armbar.

Mesiha just doesn't have the athletic ability to compete with her. I don't think it mattered what she did against Ronda. Ronda gets away with a lot in her fights because of her dominant athletic ability. She won't have that advantage against McMann.

I saw the line went off pre-fight a +150 for Weidman. I know he was an underdog, but help understand that line a little. There is no way Silva could have gone into that fight at 150:1...had I know I would defintitely dropped money on it.

I was shocked at the line too. Weidman was actually an underdog for some unknown reason.

For every $100 bet on Weidman, you won $150.

In order to win $100 on Silva, you had to bet $150.
 
Tate's line was wild.

Granted, she didn't have much of a chance. But she was +700!

For every $100 bet, you would have won $700 if she had pulled off the upset.

On another note, that card lasted way too long.
 
So Weidman was only 3:2 underdog. I never saw the +150 odds rating before.
 
What does this loss due to his LEGacy ?
Does it break his LEGacy ?
Does it fracture his status as a LEGend ?
How will people view him and hespect him ?
is normal now ?

If it were 5 years ago, I think everyone would believe he could do it again. I just have the feeling he will not enough in the tank to return to championship form. You could see in the first round he is a step slower. Weidman isn't the greatest striker out there and his punches were getting there first almost every time.

I think this is a case of a fighter who will not know when to go out on top. I see a couple more knockouts in his future...by KO I mean him having his eyes roll back in his head a couple more times. So much for the St. Pierre super fight!
 
Not to mention the likelihood of the mental aspects and hurdles he has to overcome.
Experiencing the gruesome sight of his leg injury, as well as the excruciating pain, has to leave an indelible mark in his brain, that must cause some hesitancy to land those kicks in the future, if he takes that opportunity.
Then again, I'm not going to pretend to know for certain what goes on in the mind and emotions of an MMA legend.

Once the cream of the crop of UFC fighters, the Light Heavyweight division is now as bad as the Heavyweights. The talent level has dropped off tremendously! I think Daniel Cormier has proven himself, but to have put him in the ring with that joke of a fighter was shameful. I know he was a fill-in, but that was horrible!
 
How do you justify putting a guy on the co-main event, who was just signed off the street, has only 4 professional fights, and all of them against nobodies, hasn't fought in almost a year, just pulled out of his barista job, making his UFC debut, and with only 10 days notice ?
That dude had no business of being on the co-main event.
UFC tried to justify it, by throwing in all of that WWE or WWF drama
 
I really think the UFC is corrupt. Please tell me how they keep putting women in the same ring that are obviously not the same weight. I don't care what they say, Meisha Tate and the girl last night were not 135 if Rousey is 135. She is significantly larger than they are in that ring...and that's not weight you gain back after weigh-ins. I boxed and wrestled briefly in high school and know what athletes go through to make weight and what they look like after weigh-ins. There is not that drastic a difference.
