Anyone watch the heavyweight battle between Fabricio Verdum and Mark Hunt? It was HORRIBLE!!!

That HW class has become the worst division in the UFC. Terrible!
 
It was only horrible because Werdum won, because I like Mark Hunt.
But yea, it's been the weakest division for a long time.
One person is happy about it tho - JDS.....he'll take it back with ease, if Cain stays down for a long time.
 
Good card tonight...thinking about just paying the price.

bones jones pops for cocaine and will enter rehab. the substance he popped for isn't banned so the fight still counts and his title is not stripped.

I sensed something was off with him in that fight. He didn't seem to have the aggression you'd expect from him after the hype leading up to the fight. Maybe I am taking away from Cormier...who knows?
 
I remember Jones gassing in round 2 badly. But I can't believe it was coke. He's a family man and tries to come across as across food guy.

He got rocked a couple times in the 2nd...Cormier definitely won that round, but he could have taken Cormier out in the championship rounds. You could see DC was about done and Jones couldn't finish him.

Yep..from either conditioning or lack of effort. That was the worst card I've ever seen from the ufc. No blood on the mat, no knockouts..all boxing matches for the most part

Was disappointed in Cowboy, too. He could have made himself next in line for a championship fight had he knocked Jury our...or submitted him. Jury did a pretty good job of stifling him. And I have to give Jury some credit, he got caught with that patented head kick that Cowboy has used to win 2 in his 5 win streak.
 
Did you see Henderson injured himself for this next fight so cowboy is BACK in again?
 
Just saw it. He is stretching it too thin. He needs more time to prepare for Henderson. Henderson is no slouch, regardless of his last outing.

Agreed. And I think it shows that Dana is letting these guys risk too much and fight too soon. It hasn't even been a week and he's back on deck.

Yup...he's riding this horse because he sells. Cerrone is a fan favorite and willing to fight anytime anywhere and White will sit back and let him.

When Cerrone is 50 with massive brain injuries and broke, Where will White be?
 
Yeah, we've been talking about it since last night. His image is shot now and he has a long ways to go to get back to the top.

but he gets to keep his belt and fight purse.
