The publisher has assured me it will fund. I suspect I know what that means (though not sure.) Someone just dropped a $250 pledge this morning. Just 40 hours to go until this thing ends.

4 hours left and about $900 away. Gettng scary.
 
Well, they let the Kickstarter fail. It landed about $720 short.

The publisher wants to come back in a few days to discuss next steps. They say they still plan to publish the book and on the schedule we talked about but need to figure out how to pay for the audiobook. Very full of emotion right now.
 
Thanks to everyone who did support the effort. I appreciated the chance to talk about the book on the podcast and everyone who read this thread.
 
The crowdfunder failed. The publisher still says they are going to publish the book on the timeline we agreed for, but they need to figure out a new way to pay for the audiobook.
 
Do they not ever try a 2nd crowdfund effort? What can we do to support you brother?

Yeah, I second that, and i still think some in my family would enjoy reading the book.
