Kirk Cousins Development Tracker

Wow. I wonder who he's talking to there - the media? Fans? I love that fire. That's what we need more of.

I totally agree.

(Would have been better/funnier if it was Gruden.)

Holy ****ing shit, al. Enjoy a ****ing win for 24 hours before getting back to work!

mike...I actually watched the game from beginning to end instead of heading out the door for a round of golf at half time.

I EXPECTED them to win against Tampa. that the game played out as it did is disappointing. in truth, I was laughing most of the first half. everything was on display that makes this a bad team.

glad folks draw joy from the win - but after all these years I care less about results game to game and more about what I see vis where the bar has been set.

I do note this....small as it might be: every time the TV camera pans to gruden he just strikes me as wearing the clueless motherhumper look. Callahan, on the other hand, looks to me like someone in control, constantly thinking ahead.....HC material. kinda like Joe Gibbs looked on the sidelines.

Give it a ****ing day at least before you beat us down with the same shit, man. ****!!!

We don't have much here but at least act like you're enjoying a win.

Better than the storm cloud over your head ;)

Better than the storm cloud over your head ;)

no storm cloud!

that first half was right up there among the worst I have watched in a long, long time. not bouncing around any more after all these seasons. not angry. not blistered. just not being taken in - cuz I know what lies around the corner. the patterns are all out there.

anywho....I think it's great you're riding a high! more power to ya!

Look at you sneaking in the negative to show how you aren't negative.

I'm done with you today. You can't bring me down.

mike.....you sure spend a lotta time assigning responsibility for your emotional well-being to others. take a rest. drink some more beer. draw joy from the things that please you. worry a little less about others and how they think.

yup...I saw a boatload of negatives in the first half. so what? ignoring them doesn't make them disappear. you saw many good things. run with it!

"Are you not entertained?"

Thanks for Posting that Diesel. We have been waiting for Kirk to show this kind of fire for a while now. I know there is no way to bottle it, but maybe they can piss him off before every game?

Al, save your bullshit. You're a negative dude and even after a win you complain.

Either figure out how to be happy for at least 12 hours or figure out how to shut up for the same.

But it's tiresome knowing you're always there lurking to complain and try to bring the room down.

Since we wanna tell each other what to do and all. But this is the last time your negative mind interrupts my life again.

mike....you keep returning to the well!

I have higher expectations. that's the difference. I know good football in defeat and bad football in victory. not going to change my analysis.

"Don't worry. Be happy"!

Career day for Kirk Cousins. Redskins record for come from behind victories. You gotta love it Redskin fans. No one will remember the first half. And most don't care, but some will want to spin it. Bottom line was, there were coaching adjustments that were made, and the players responded with a gut check. This is what most all of us have been waiting for. It these type of victories that bring a team together. And they did it with backups all over the field. Kudos to all concerned, well deserved victory for Kirk and Jay, and nice adjustment by Barry. By the way, g reat special teams call well executed on side kick first in NFL this year. All phases pulled this one out....yeah baby!!!

Exactly micks. It couldn't have been a more daunting scenario. Self confessed 'must win' game. Getting trucked and embarrassed at home to a cascade of boos at halftime. Several more key injuries. Backups all over the place for the 2nd half. People calling for half-time firing of Gruden and benching of Cousins. And what happens? They come out and utterly dominate the 2nd half.

Pretty amazing turnaround. I don't know if it saves the season. But if we'd tanked the 2nd half it was definitely over and maybe a lot more.

There are certainly more than a few things to be concerned about, but that was a really nice win that we should all enjoy. We can dissect and analyze (heck, we have two weeks to do that), but for now, I'm glad for the W.

Kirk played better from mid-second Q on and looked like an NFL QB for the first time in a few weeks. This is the kind of win that will help give confidence in coming weeks and years.

Kirk Cousins had 4 TD's today. The loss last week was a reminder that we aren't as far a long as we'd wished to be, the win this week (after the hole we dug) reminds us we are not cellar dwellers.

I appreciate the bar some have set, but the reality is...that bar is not going to be reached this year. You have to learn to take the good when it comes, and it's much better than it was last year, across the board. This team has a lot of work to do. Our defense got beat up today, but so what! We won, we overcame in a game that could easily have been a complete collapse...the standard operating procedure for so long around here.

I've been one of the more negative people on this board this year, but I don't know. The are a lot of way to read into a 'glass is half full/empty' kinda game like this, but you know what?

We won the game. We're 3-4. That's better than 2-5.

I'll take it.

Just win.

There are such things as good losses (the ones that are sometimes hard to swallow but make you stronger down the road...the Atlanta type games).

There are also such things as character wins (the ones where composure, perseverance, and fight get you through more so than anything else...see Tampa, St. Louis, and Philly type games).

It just seems that outside of our visits to the Meadowlands this year, we've found ourselves in the types of games described above.

If nothing else, 2015 is teaching this football team firsthand some of the important football lessons that are required to eventually become a champion.

One way or another, we'll be better off in 2016 and beyond as a team for having lived through these experiences and being able to taste a bit of success here and there.

Days like today are important towards breaking the cycle of losing and shedding the loser mentality...(for fans like me too).

12-4! Let's do it!

Going down 24-0 was the best possible thing that could have happened for Cousins and the team. It forced Gruden and company to stop trying to protect Cousins and let him play, which he desparately needed. When we gave up the fumble TD, my first thouht was, well at least Cousins is going to get a chance to throw a bunch.

He did scramble some, roll out some, and even took off a play or 2. I'd like to see him improvise some and just take over. Winners can do that when they need to.

They need to just cut him loose and let him sink or swim. This game manager BS won't work. He finally got to jut play today and he stepped up. I hope he can keep it going!
