That's still the disconnect for me. I agreed with the fifth year option when they spoke of his progress in the off-season and it sounded like they were going still focused on working with Robert. But signing that and then burying him is what doesn't make sense to me.
How can you not bury him after the performance in live action? He did great in 7 on 7 no contact drills from what everyone says, but once he saw live action...he stumbles, fumbles the ball, and get injured trying to recover it....on a quick slant route?
Oh yeah, I know...the downward slide was all because Garcon dropped that pass on the first toss in pre-season for a potential TD...you know, the one that was thrown behind him.
