Burgold, I feel your pain. But we are literally 5 games into a rebuild. The way we got into this twenty year mess was, for the most part, by demanding a superbowl champion the year after we stunk. Its time to build with youth and depth. It may be next year, or the year after that. But rebuilds take time.

we are in the second year actually. worse yet we are still playing a lot of 30 year olds who wont be here if we finally get to be a contender. we have added some young talent , now we need to use it and see if its worth keeping.

We can all make excuses for why the Redskins don't have or haven't been able to acquire a franchise qb.

The bottom line is top clubs find them.

Some are lucky enough to get the first pick in a year where there is a top prospect available such as was the case for the Cowboys and Aikman, Colts and Manning as well as the lions with Stafford, etc.

Other clubs take a risk like New Orleans and end up with Drew Brees for no compensation as a free agent.
The Cardinals a few years back signed Kurt Warner as a street free agent and he took them to a Super Bowl.

The Redskins could have signed these players.

Other good organizations find their quarterbacks in the middle to late first round as the Steelers did with Roethlisberger and the Packers did with Aaron Rodgers.

The point is you don't judge an organization on HOW they get the top qb they need, but on whether through whatever means they GET HIM excuses aside.
