Thats the only thing that gives me serious pause on the preference to get better draft capital.As much as I am a believer in Jayden Daniels, he is a second year QB who is still learning. Even if you consider this season lost for the team, there is nothing JD5 is going to grasp during practice next season that is better than actual game reps once he is healthy this season. Of course don't rush him back, but if he is healthy with at least a month of football left, you play him.
Jayden getting his mojo back might be worth losing draft spots.
We of all people know that a teams momentum isnt carried over but i believe a quarterbacks confidence can be at least a little bit especially when that quarterback is so young.
